What's the difference between nazis and divorced men? This question is a little absurd and inflammatory but I'll answer. White supremacists believe that the "white race"- which is a loose amalgam of West/North/Celtic Europeans- is responsible for the vast majority of human advancement and civilization, as it stands. They believe that it is therefore appropriate that the white race should be in charge of all other races. Specifically, white people should be returned to their "former glory" of sitting at the top of the power structure in the United States. Now, MGTOWs believe that there is a biological reality to male and female psychologies. They believe that due to this reality, female behavior is observable, predictable, and therefore can be generalized. If you combine this with intersexual relationships going awry in their day-to-day environment, they see females as being the cause to much of their personal issues- and the issues of society at large. (Also, they believe modern society has tainted women to an irreparable degree) They then make the decision to exclude women from their life in order to amplify their personal gain as much as possible.

Both groups see society as being tainted and seek to remedy the situation (reactionary mindset) by taking social action or inaction, they find communities online and in-person (sense of belonging), they both typically fill rank with "basement dwellers" and those left out of social gain and pleasure, and both see themselves as being superior to a contrasting group. BUT, WS's seek to build rank in order to dominate those groups- seemingly in violent ways. MGTOW's are often comprised of divorcee men, young men without healthy male role models, and those who have suffered emotional or physical abuse by women they were meant to trust. WS's are trying to make sense of their own ineptitude and self-inflicted misfortunes while MGTOW's typically have actually observed mistreatment and simply opt out of taking part in sexual interactions where and when they can. ONE IS OPPRESSIVE AND THE OTHER IS SELF-ALIENATION.

As a MGHOW who also used to frequent /r/MGTOW, I think I'm somewhat able to answer this. First of all, being a MGHOW for me means just that; I'm going my own way, that is I'm not willing to compromise for anyone; not to a woman, not to a man, and not to society. This doesn't mean I'm not interested in a LTR, just that in such a relationship, I'm not going to allow anyone to step on me, and I'm not going to make any compromises. I have no intentions of adjusting any of my morals, or lack thereof, or standards for anyone. I know that typically people do make compromises for their SOs, but for me personally, I don't know where to draw the line, and as such either I'm going to compromise on everything, or nothing. I choose nothing.

I'm not blaming anyone for my problems, and most of the MGTOWs I've talked to are the same. /r/MGTOW is a bit different. They hate women for reason that they have either been hurt by, or have seen others hurt by women. And in this way, yes, I agree with you that they're a bit like racists. However I also do see value in that. Why? Because they're addressing what is at the very least a large minority of women which for whatever reason Bluepill, or general society likes to play down. /r/MGTOW for that reason serves as a warning: there are many women out there that are the ways /r/MGTOW generalizes all women to be like, and a man should be aware of that. If you are already aware though, then there's no reason not to just ignore them. They aren't calling for violence, and are in fact calling for men to go their own ways, which usually consists of them avoiding relationships with women, as they're either unable, unwilling, or undesiring of such. Which is fine, isn't it? No women are getting hurt. And they aren't calling for women to get hurt. That is the primary difference. That said, most people who have in the recent years been labeled as white supremacists are far from, and are actually mostly white separatists, or nationalists, neither of which, in my opinion, is inherently wrong.

MGTOW are by definition men who want nothing to do with women. While it is plagued by incels and MRM nuts, that doesn't change what it means. For choosing to forfeit a life with women by welcoming a life of emotional solitude, one is not guilty by association because of it.

White Supremacists are just ill informed (usually very unintelligent) people who perpetuate a devide amoung the races (black people do this too); further casting the shadow over the real problem with North American, which is classism.

I would say the primary difference is that in white supremacy a belief in in-group supremacy is core to the movement, while in MGTOW this is not the case. While it's true that many MGTOW do look down on women, many others do not. It is not an essential part of the movement. It is entirely possible to look at the scientific evidence for biologically-based core differences between men and women and conclude that it is not worthwhile to become overly entangled with women, all without hating women or judging them negatively.

To put it another way, without negative judgment of the out-group you cannot have white supremacy, but you can still have MGTOW.

A huge portion of the MGTOW movement is black men. It's theorized that the black community essentially started MGTOW with they're extremely misogynistic song lyrics and "bitches ain't shit" attitude.

There is LITERALLY NOTHING in common between wanting to live your life without being married and white supremacy.

Who they're against, their political views, and some parts of their culture. They both have their crazy extremists and their hatred. However, the MGTOWs aren't putting on any rallies, or killing people for their cause, so they have that going for them. Which is nice.

Yep. They're both hate groups, only difference is that white supremacists have shitloads of political clout in the GOP. Nobody cares about MGTOW whining.

I feel bad for MGTOW, but they don't do real harm because they usually stay within their online spaces. White supremacists, on the other hand, do shitloads of harm and should be the first against the wall. Fuck white supremacists and "race realists"
