Umm... Clothes of any particular model are always the same price no matter the size...

If you are so hugely morbidly obese that you have to go to a different part of the store to get your clothes, those are clearly different models of clothing to what is in the rest of the store, even if they appear to look the same, and you should be charged more considering the amount of fabric used in just one article your clothing could have made 6-10 for anybody else.

Got a problem with that? Stop eating 16 big macs and a party sized pizza every day and go for a walk every now and again.

As a big guy who will often shop at the big and tall store I expect to pay a little more because the store caters to a certain clientele. But when I see a pair of jeans with nothing special about them other than a 48 inch waistline at $130 that's just price gouging.

I (male) am 6'7" with a size 16 shoe. What I can wear is extremely limited.

I absolutely understand that I will have to pay more for my clothes, because more fabric. However, I grow weary of paying $50 for a $20 shirt (in same size, but non-tall) that uses maybe 25-30% more fabric. I can't buy clothes online, malls don't carry clothes fitting for me, and the prices for specialty items are absolutely outrageous. I literally walked into a department store this last weekend to find a nice shirt for a wedding. The same exact shirt in my size, minus the *tall* part of the size, was $20. The same size with the *tall*, which kept me from looking like a gigantic belly dancer, was $50. Sometimes the markup isn't fair, and we can't do anything about it. A few bucks more? Maybe $30? Done. I get that the mass production is hard, but man, it gets so fucking old. I even bought a "tall" shirt in my size online recently, only for it to fit like a children's shirt when it finally showed up. Absolutely mind numbing after not being able to wear anything ever.

Not to sound dramatic, but the entire world was designed for folks that are about 6' or so and below. It feels like a trap to be stuck in this gigantic body where I don't fit in anything or anywhere.

I absolutely expect to pay more, like I said. This person is certainly off base to a degree. After a while though, it just weighs down on you. I feel like I don't belong on this planet and was given an unfair disadvantage at things with my height.

She is a little bit right. Clothing prices should be completly proportionnal to the size like S costs 5, then L costs 10 etc. And not so everything before 3XL costs something, and anything above costs more.
