How is that what Whoppi says is so controversial to these women? They all seem to think it is fine for women to hit men and expect no retaliation.

Wonder what they would think if a woman was to bash their Son or Brother. Would they want their male loved one to defend themselves or just stand around and cop the abuse? If they are meant to just cop the abuse, then where is the limit? Or do you allow the woman to continue until she has killed the guy?

Growing up i had 4 step sisters that all were bigger and equally matched in strength to me or very close. There were times that our individual relationships were almost indistinguishable between me having brothers with the way we interacted. Fighting, teasing, tricking, friendship..every dynamic you can think of. We definitely had knock-down drag-outs and it was a toss up wether i would win but both of us always lost cause we'd end up getting out asses whooped by our parents. My experience is that no matter your gender, if you decide to fight, be prepared to get your ass beat. Sparring with my stepdad taught me that i would NEVER be as strong as some people because i am very small in stature but i can take a beating. Everyone needs to get their ass beat once and also needs to be the beater once. What you learn is a respect for people and most importantly restraint. Knowing when someone has been beaten and to stop beating them is just as valuable as knowing when you are beaten and to GTFO of there if you can. Man this brings me back..My sisters were fucking bad bitches back in the day lol...still are.

Go Goldberg. I'll be honest, I went into this expecting to come out mildly annoyed and angry that it was going to be another roundtable rant about poor defenseless people being beat up despite them originally starting stuff. But I'll own up. I was wrong. I completely misjudged Goldberg and I came out of this liking her. She stood for a basic and simple message that I think we can all agree on.

Ought VS Is!

It's back to this again, the old, "Ought VS Is" conversation.

Every time the reality shatters that invisible wall, the SJW brigade get their invisible placards out to defend the invisible wall.

Here's an example.

A crosswalk.

In the magical world of OUGHT, the crosswalk has a magical barrier that is impenetrable to vehicles of all kinds. It's simple, if a car does manage to break through the OUGHT BARRIER, the law will come crashing down and destroy the lives of those who broke the OUGHT BARRIER.

In reality, there is no barrier, it is the driver of the car DECIDING TO STOP and if he does hit you, you have to not only identify the car but also the driver.

That's the real kicker. The human being behind the wheel chooses to stop, they don't have to, there is nobody twisting their arm in the passenger seat telling them to stop, they just volunteer to stop, of their own free will every time they get to a crosswalk.

It is so common place for a car to stop at a cross walk that pedestrians mistake the Crosswalk as having an invisible wall, they can step out into the road without needing to look, take their kids across the road without thinking twice, push that pram into the road... because all cars WILL STOP.

Do they decide if a car stops?

No.

The driver does...

Should the car stop?

Yes, but the driver doesn't have to stop.

That means, in one simple act, of crossing the road without checking, a person can easily put the rest of their life or quality of life in another person's hands on, possibly their worst bad day.

This is true of the chivalry argument.

A man OUGHT not hit a woman.

That magical OUGHT BARRIER acting as a shield, no matter how hard the man tries, his hands are tied together?

No.

Yet again, we find ourselves looking at a stranger, a person who is having a shit day and down to their last speck of patience, then a woman hits him. And all of his frustration ends up vented upon her face in a single of hay-maker punch and all I can think is. She's lucky that he didn't have a knife or she might have been stabbed.

When you take a self defense clases, you learn one valuable lesson, which is easy to say but harder to realize.

Don't leave your fate in the hands of another person having a shit day because you might get the brunt of their venting.

True story. When I was in my senior year in HS, this girl had a crush on me and asked me out to which I said no. A few weeks later her new boyfriend came up to me in the hall and made some accusation that I sexually assaulted her. I denied ever even coming near her. He made a threatening parting comment that if I ever touch her, he would kill me. I said whatever. The very next day I'm in my locker getting stuff out and I feel a sharp pain as someone slaps my head from behind pretty good and hard. I turned around expecting to see the new boyfriend while simultaneously ducking and throwing and mean right cross only to see that girl getting belted by my fist right in the face and flying backwards into wall and crumpling to the ground, out like a light. Shocked, I start to walk over and lean down only to catch a blur to the right as (you guessed it) the new boyfriend is charging for a tackle. No time to dodge, I braced for the impact and we go into a ball of fury as I fight for my life trying to get this mad man off of me. We rolled around a bit, he struggled to land punches as I dodged and tried to keep his arms locked up. Finally, after what seemed like forever, some teachers broke up the scuffle. At this point he is crying and screaming literally spitting mad calling me a rapist woman beater as this poor chick is still totally unconscious from hitting the wall (not so much my punch) while her friends try to revive her and curse my name. After a long session of fact finding in the principle's office they found us equally at fault for the fight and we (the boyfriend and I) were both expelled from the school. She had no recollection of what happened at all. She says she remembers walking past me in the hallway and then nothing. I only had 6 weeks to go and was going to graduate with honors which they denied me so I ended up having to go get a GED in order to start college. She filed assault charges and ended up dropping them later.
