Hey :) So I'm not "new" but I'm finally becoming more active, instead of just lurking.

The grass is greener where you water it. I know this is more of a quote than a piece of advice, but I think it speaks volumes by itself. Nurture the relationships you care about, and you will reap the benefits.

Ok, so I've been here forever (well, almost) but I want to do this because it's fun.

Look at what he does that you never even notice. This changed my life.
Shep something or other. I can't remember the street name, but just being Shep it has the potential to be a great male stripper name.
I used to love these. Not so much any more because I have difficulty suspending disbelief like a used to. So how about a couple of corny movies I found again on Netflix lately? Bring it On and Legally Blonde. I love the part in Legally Blonde where she gets the nerdy guy a date with preselection. It's so true and it's hilarious.

I have to say that I love the movie Love Actually as well that someone mentioned earlier.

1.) Favorite piece of advice? Practice the pause. 99% of my problems come from not thinking before I speak - pausing to think before I open my mouth prevents 99% of stupid things from getting out.

I'm Blushing Lilly. I've been married for 5 years now to a lovely man and we have one child.

My best piece of marriage advice would be that 90% of the marriage advice you get out there these days is total nonsense and won't make you happy because it demonises men, so choose carefully.

I'm not a big film person so I don't have a favourite romantic film. Plus like other posters I think a lot of these films often have terrible messages such as glorifying stalking and what not. So I'll offer up my current favourite romantic song which is Brian Eno's 'By this river'. It's about the demise of a relationship in my view so it's a sad romantic song but still worth a listen.

Hey ladies! Since I'm a classic lurker and likely will be for life (INFJ represent!), this is more of a token "hello" than anything, but:

1) Ermm....crap. I read and digest so many things that make perfect sense to me that it's really hard to distill it down to one piece of advice. So...don't overthink? Feel into the sensations of your body and distract that crazy brain from running its monologue.

2) Sunny Illinois...oh gosh, I'm picturing a revealing gingham shirt and blonde pigtails here. ;)

3) I usually dislike romantic movies! They almost never display a relationship that I consider worth getting behind. Books seem to take more time to develop characters and the nuance of relationships, though, so let me recommend "The Thinking Woman's Guide to Real Magic," which I just read and enjoyed quite a bit. Not to say the relationship in it is FUNCTIONAL, per se, but it has a surly Darcy figure and enough sexual tension to cut butter, so.....yeah, there we go. :)

I've been lurking for a long long time (since the first sub started) and I followed you gals over here. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone and be a little more social irl, so I figure I'll give it a shot online too.

My favorite advice... be appreciative! I try to thank my husband for every little thing he does. He's been down due to having his tonsils out a few days ago, and it's really made me more cognizant of everything he does. Since he's been out I've been the one doing all the driving, running in the store, pumping gas, taking the trash, taking the dogs out, making phone calls, locking up at night, and so on. He does so so so much so that I can focus on the baby, my pumping schedule, cooking, and cleaning. I think just being more appreciative has really made a world of difference in our relationship. I think about how bratty and self-centered I was in past relationships and early in our relationship and it just makes me cringe.
Fancy Halterman! Wee-haw! Fancy wasn't our first family pet, but she's the first one I really remember.
I love rom-coms. I think most recently I watched What to Expect When You're Expecting. It wasn't too bad and I think it was mildly entertaining to my husband (maybe).

Hoping to get more involved in this sub!

Hey everyone, not new to red pill women, but I haven't been on this new sub yet! I haven't been active in a while because we'd gotten really busy. I jumped on the IRC because I have to take a general education course and thought you all would get a kick out of some of the contents of it, but I guess the IRC rules have changed, so here's my introduction! I've missed the conversations on here because I've been having to deal with a lot of academia nonsense lately.

Best RP advice came from a wonderful women met on twitter. She told me that everytime my husband complains I should give him head. I found it hilarious but it helped his stress level quite a bit.

Some of the best relationship advice I ever got was from my dad. He and my mother had a wonderful relationship and when I quizzed him on what made them so compatible, he said it was that they understood that they were different people. They recognized each other's strengths as something to admire rather than something to "beat". She didn't try to be the man of the house, and he didn't try to be the woman. Complementary roles works!

My stripper name would be Jessie Tiarri. Not bad!

My favorite romantic movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". I have a thing for Christmas movies and I just love their dedication to one another.
