Turn ons:

His forearms when he wears a button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up
Confident speech - tone of voice, words used, no wavering or stuttering
Being respectful and friendly to service staff or just people that you encounter in public
Being handy - so many men don't have the ability or desire to fix things or build things anymore
The ability to play a musical instrument somewhat well - it just makes a man seem more well-rounded
The ability to just take charge of a situation
Blue eyes and salt and pepper hair swoon
Being good at grilling meats and making a great cup of coffee

Turn offs:

Indecision, the inability to make small decisions - the age-old "where should we have dinner?" situation comes to mind, it's not hard to just make an executive decision
Cigarette smell/taste
Fear of commitment - maybe controversial, but it seems like a huge red flag signaling weakness and confidence issues
Drug abuse - nothing against the occasional weed usage or anything, but regular stoners or guys who use harder stuff - NOPE
I don't really know how to describe this, but men who fawn all over their woman. It's really sweet to see a man who does care about his woman, but huge public displays of affection on social media or just generally in public gross me out. Also, men who feel the need to just constantly be wrapped around their woman, kissing all over on her, and making declarations of their love. I'm all for a kiss here and there, a butt grab, hand holding, or laying your head on the other's shoulder for a moment, but excessive PDA is just disgusting.

I love a man that smells good and has good hygiene, good taste in clothes and has a family tendency (as in does want to marry and have a bunch of kiddos). I also love when he's passionate about something - even if it's about gaming, which I know is such a turn-off for many women.

I don't like men who are arrogant or dull. I don't like men who publicly state then don't want to get married but would if the girl insisted - dude, get a grip and alpha the hell up (you either want to or you don't!).

I love blue eyes, strong broad shoulders, and a playful grin. Total sploosh for what my sister calls "puffing up" into protector mode when the situation calls for it.

I hate men in Hawaiian shirts, 50 year olds dressing like they're 20, and colored lens sunglasses.

When they order for you, as in ask you what you want to eat off a menu and then speak directly to the waiter themselves
Broad shoulders on a tall man mmm
Full head of thick hair with some greys
Guys who can play the piano well or can speak many languages, have such a soft spot for them
Physical playfulness e.g. when they pretend to squash you or tickle you or push you off the bed
Sarcasm (that isn't too mean)
When they get mildly annoyed sometimes at other people especially if they add in a few expletives, it's kinda hot LOL
Being treated like a child/pet in a playful way
When they are knowledgable and explain something to you that you don't know

Turn offs:

Too obsessed with their appearance/vanity (guys who use snapchat filters non-ironically are yucky)
High voice/lisp
Too many soppy good morning texts :/ once in a while is fine if it's not just on its own but a single 'good morning' text is eghh
Too short/long hair
Being indecisive on small things, not making a decision is probably worse than making a rubbish one
Beards, many girls love them but I just can't :')

This might be because I'm hearing impaired and lip read, but I've been instantly turned off by guys before just because I don't like how their lips move. So weird!

I joke with my husband about how he turns into this irresistible hottie when his hair is freshly cut. I really ought to trim it weekly. :P.

Call me superficial, but I love tall guys. I'm 5'8", almost 6' in heels! I feel more protected and feminine when I'm dating someone taller than me.
Big brown eyes. I love when guys have big puppy dog eyes, it's so adorable. I love other eye colors too, but brown eyes seem more comforting to me.
Deep voice. I know a guy who's a voice actor and his voice is just...swoon.
Bonus points if he can sing or play instruments!
Men who enjoy cooking, especially Italian food.
BEARDS. Nothing too long or scraggly, of course.
Friendly to service staff and tips well. Men who tip more than necessary are very attractive. I have a male friend who tips $40 at the beginning of the night any time he and his friends go out, so they get excellent service.

Turn offs:

Smokes cigarettes. So gross!
Overly controlling. My friend's ex insisted on checking her texts and emails, and tracked her location. No thanks!
Huge displays of affection on social media make me gag.
Being too obsessed with fitness. I'm not into super muscley guys. Also, it's no fun dating someone who is on a strict boneless chicken breast and vegetables diet all the time.

Gameness. As in, willingness to do/try cool stuff together!
Active. Hiking, lifting, running, yoga, whatever. Being active means you’re healthy and that we can go on cool adventures together.

A thick, full, medium-to-long length hair -- and good, thick eyebrows! Long, skinny legs. Mmm! Especially in skinny jeans.

Turn Offs:

Self-proclaimed "geeky" people. On the flip side, taking pride in not having read a book since college. Picky eaters.
