Hello all!

I am a 22F who has just moved to Paris from the US. My master's program doesn't start for some weeks and so I am alone, without anyone here since I arrived quite early. I have been on Tinder before in my life but it has never worked out as I genuinely lose interest after a few days and I'm absolutely not a hook-up kinda gal. Here, though, people are a bit more inclined to date and be monogamous than the US. Regardless of whom I date, I'm not planning to sleep with them for at least a couple of months after meeting so that should weed out any unwanted men lol. I know once I make friends here I'll start going out and meeting people irl (my preferred method) but for the moment all I have is TInder. The guys on it (as I'm sure will the guys irl) invite me on dates to get drinks. I know that's standard and I'd probably do the same myself if I were a man. However, all these High Value women channels that I watch emphasize to NOT go on any first date that is not dinner, as this signals low effort from the beginning and will be difficult to change them. My preferences are 30+ (irl and online) and because I'm very broke, I'd love to have someone who can help me out when we go out. Do you guys think it is disastrous to go on these dates? As in, once I do, good luck to me getting them to support me at least a little later on?

Thanks!
