I don't know OP. She obviously has some very polar opinions compared to Bill, but they seem to enjoy their mutual bickering. I doubt either of them convinced the other one in any way, but there were definitely some points where Nia recognized Bill was making good points. I don't think Bill is a hypocrite, I just think he likes to argue.

Everything about the guy suggests that he loves a good dust-up. He needs to fight, he craves vicious (but not malicious) banter. He probably looks forward to the verbal sparring that comes from shit-tests as much as the average joe looks forward to his next blow-job.

Unless I was jockeying for the title of Mrs. Bill Burr, I don't care in the least that he's married. The man's never been secretive about his rather confusing feelings for his LTR or their relationship. This also gives him the opportunity to really beat the message home in his routines with more detailed reasons why men need to know what they've gotten themselves into. Truth be told, the men I respected most where the ones who weren't ashamed to admit their faults when offering useful advice.

As for his wife, she doesn't look bad and I know there are guys out here who know of guys who married utter cows. There's no denying he could've found a better looking, younger more fertile woman to slip a ring on, but she's actually easy on the eyes. She just needs to do some arm exercises those arms are turning into wings.

You gotta dig a little deeper. I've listened to 100s of his podcasts and most if not all of his televised stand-ups. He's a hardcore product of his old school father, and yes he married a fairly basic bitch, but he's more self-aware thanks to late stage therapy and self-reflection.

He and his wife have a decent back and forth. As loud as he shouts, part of him is a shy guy who sits back and observes. His wife takes the driver's seat figuratively at times, and I believe it's preferred by him in those moments. He was mid 40s before getting married. So cut him some slack. He's not your typical starry eyed 24 year old.

I don't think it was that bad. Sounds like any relationship. They are able to call each other out on their shit and still love each other afterwards. Who knows how long they been together but of course she is not going to take his shit and Bill probably respects her for that. He wouldn't want someone who he could just say shit to and she would always agree with. I think his personality needs an opinionated woman as a proper contrast. Of course she is not going to grovel at his feet and worship him because she has to deal with his shit. The same thing with him. He has to deal with her shit. If they able to constantly deal with each others shit and make it to the end of life together, then that's a successful marriage.

I mean I am definitely disappointed, but at the same time what do you expect. Plenty of men all over the world have always made the "life is over once you get married" joke but they still get married because they don't have TRP to tell them that it's ok to be alone, to ignore society and ignore their girlfriend's bitching and that they can do better.... so it's like people know something is off with the current way of living but they either don't know how to act on it or don't feel like they can. Bill Burr's stand up comedy is undoubtedly RedPill and he could be living a very fulfilling life with plates based on his attitude, fame and fortune.... just unfortunate. I don't think anyone should knock him though as we all know how easy it is to be there, and he doesn't have a forum to tell him right from wrong (and he's also famous so he has a lot of external pressure to not take on an extreme view [at least socially] such as TRP).

I find his podcasts more entertaining when Nia is on to be honest. She's not a complete loon, I've heard a few podcasts where O'l Billary Swank talks Nia into seeing his point of view when he argues a "Men getting screwed" example, and she comes around when it makes sense. She intially see's things from a woman's perspective as is naturally but if it's a fucked up situation and pointed out to her, Nia comes around.
