Then comes the ugly wall. she's 30+ the phone calls diminish. The red carpet and VIPs are not as frequent. Her inbox isn't as loaded. Her $125 an hour income is becoming less as she books fewer and fewer jobs. Her only skill at being hot is becoming harder and harder to uphold. Ignores several aspects of the story.

She was a model, so she traveled a lot. That is no reason for him to just assume she would cheat everywhere she went. The only reason for him to want to go to the Playboy Mansion would be to stare at other models, unless he didn't trust her, which would be more an indication of a lack of confidence in him. At least he was confidant. You can't claim you are the prize when you weren't invited to the party but want to go anyway; not only that, she was a model, why would you think she can just bring along anyone she wants?

The guy obviously loves the kids. It's a lot more difficult to raise kids than to abandon them, especially after learning about their mother. I've never heard of "taking the easy way out" described as a good quality for a man. That's what women do. That's what his wife did. There's a difference between this guy taking responsibility for people he cares about and being a loser. A loser would have left when he was no longer able to get what he wanted (the kids' mother). A loser wouldn't have fought with his wife over her drinking, or told people “what I would love people to remember her for is not what’s on TMZ — just that she was a person.”

My point is, he didn't make any excuses. He did the work he had to in order to meet the needs of the people he cares about.

Before I had kids of my own, I would have looked at having to raise her children as a huge burden, but depending on how long he was their step-dad - he may have a great relationship with them and may want to be the one raising them.

Provided that it's a real PB party with Hef present (most parties there are NOT- PB rents the mansion for parties all the time) it is near impossible to score an invitation as a male unless you are 1) Hef's cronies or their entourage 2) celebrities or their entourage 3) you work for PB.
