Hello Guys, I'm a 21 year old male, been lurking for a few months and have taken a lot out of this community but I figured I had something to give back now regarding an issue that doesn't get a lot of attention but I believe there may be some sufferers out there.

Please note the stories and theories in this post have been developed pre-TRP. I believe with the application of TRP Philosophy into your life, sexual performance issues will decrease over time and the quality of your sex will increase over time.

Summary: I have suffered with Premature Ejaculation since the age of 18 when I had my first sexual encounter. Over the years I've had some revelations about this condition which has lead me to increase my performance up to the point where I don't consider myself to have P.E anymore.

Apologies for the wall of text, I don't think I could do this justice without it.

Body: In my personal experience there have been two huge factors that i believed led me to develop and maintain P.E, they are:

  • Pornography
  • Negative Feedback loops

I'll begin with pornography, I first realized how much this has influenced my P.E when I discovered the YBOP (Your brain on porn) and the NoFap community through the TED talk by Gary Wilson. After reading through a lot of the user submitted content in these communities, I discovered the theory of P.I.P.E or (Porn Induced Premature Ejaculation).

In a nutshell P.I.P.E is the theory that through the systematic use of porn from an early age and over a number of years, you can physiologically and neurologically train your body to reach orgasm in the shortest period of time. The advantage of being able to reach orgasm quickly when using porn is that it reduces the chance that you will be caught, either by your parents, siblings or anyone else you live with.

When I read about this theory and recalled how I had been using porn for the past decade it all seemed to make a lot more sense. For the best part of the past decade I have been watching pornography on the main family desktop (located downstairs in my home and is coincidentally the first room entered after the hallway from the front door). This of course caused a lot of anxiety as the window of time that I had to watch porn was very short and I could be interrupted at any moment. Naturally through no intention I trained my body to reach orgasm as fast as possible when masturbating, and when I became sexually active at the age of 18 with my LTR, I discovered that I had a huge problem.

I could only last around 2 minutes and I felt horribly embarrassed. This of course caused tension in our relationship so naturally I took steps to improve my performance (masturbating on days I knew I would be sexually active and planning enough time for round two's or three's where I knew I would be able to last considerably longer) with limited success.

In my sexual experiences with another girlfriend, I also noticed that there were certain aspects of sex that caused me to reach orgasm faster and this was reflected in my Porn viewing habits. When I was watching porn I had the tendency to skip through certain parts of a clip to find the perfect time to orgasm, whether that be a certain shot, sound or current fetish. The psychological stimulation of watching my girlfriend ride me reverse-cowgirl could make me insta-cum. Physically this position didn't even feel that great, but that made no difference, even if I had already came and we were on a round two. This of course further hammered home the theory that porn was a major problem.

After more reading from these communities, I heard success stories of people that had increased their sexual performance just from abstaining from masturbating to high speed internet porn. As I applied this to my masturbation habits I noticed differences almost instantly, mainly differences pertaining to the sexual triggers that could send me over the edge, they had less of an effect on me and I had more time to react so that I wasn't sent over the edge. When my discipline failed and porn addiction returned naturally this progress was undone. I am still struggling with porn addiction but using my understanding its affect on my sexual performance is not as strong as I watch very infrequently.

Even if you do not currently suffer from P.E I seriously suggest that you stop masturbating to porn. I don't agree with the whole notion of NoFap but I do agree that Porn addiction is a huge problem that 95%+ men raised in the internet age suffer from and abstaining from Porn can have huge health benefits (do some research).

Abstaining from masturbating to Porn has helped me understand more about my body and arousal levels, combining this with edging over 20-30 minute sessions also helps to desensitize and get your penis used to constant stimulation over long periods of time.

Next I'd like to talk a little bit about negative and positive feedback loops.

After battling with P.E for around 2 years with around 6 sexual partners and 2 LTR's I noticed that my sexual performance was hugely affected by my anxiety leading into the interaction. In that period of time I have lasted anywhere between 2 seconds to 30 minutes when considering my first orgasm in a sexual encounter (basically not counting round two's etc). My anxiety was affected by a couple of different factors such as alcohol, mood but critically, my most recent sexual performance. I'm sure if I had someone measuring my time till orgasm in each sexual encounter, and plotted them on a graph they would see a pattern of sexual performance either decreasing gradually over time or gradually increasing.

What is happening here is a feedback loop. When entering a sexual interaction the situation that is creating my anxiety is that there is the possibility I will cum fast, therefore disappointing my partner and causing a huge amount of embarrassment. If i enter a sexual interaction with an anxiety level of 5 and I have a bad sexual experience, let's say I come within the first 5 minutes, my partner doesn't orgasm, and we do not have sex again that night; the next time I enter a sexual interaction, my level of anxiousness may have risen to a 6 therefore causing me to reach orgasm in 4 minutes, thus creating a negative feedback loop. This is how men who have had no performance issues can gradually develop P.E usually over the course of months of years, they are at the worse end of a huge negative feedback loop.

I have had experiences where over the course of a month of two my sexual performance has reached the point where I could not insert my penis into my girlfriend without instantly reaching orgasm.

Of course the opposite to this effect exists. If I have a sexual encounter that goes well, let's say I cum quickly but we go for another round and I am able to last for a long time, when the next sexual encounter I may feel less anxious and perform even better which can create a positive feedback loop, where my sexual performance gradually increases to the point where it is no longer an issue. However, positive feedback loops can very easily be affected, as your level of anxiety when entering a sexual encounter is determined by a huge array of factors. I once had a FWB situation with an old friend who was around a 6, after a few months of having sex with this girl I got to the point where I no longer had performance issues. This all changed when I met another girl who i would rate around an 8, she was considerably more attractive and sexually experienced, I was horribly anxious when we first fucked and naturally months of work improving my sexual performance was discarded when I came within the first few minutes of fucking her. This experience then later bled into my FWB situation and I found myself regressing back into a negative feedback loop (please note that this happened before I knew about feedback loops or TRP, had I have realized what was happening I could've taken steps to fix this situation).

I discovered this theory through a video by RSD's Tyler Durden (Owen), where he explains about positive and negative feed back loops in relation to picking up women. When I heard this it suddenly clicked in my brain that I have been experiencing the same thing with sexual performance. With this knowledge I decided to apply the technique of Pumping State, which in pickup terms means to psychologically pump yourself to prime yourself for pickup (which is to get into a higher energy state), this can be done through talking to yourself in the mirror, visualizing yourself picking up women, dancing to music among other techniques.

I decided to put this into practice whilst working a night shift at a monotonous warehouse job where my girlfriend also worked, we started at 10pm and finished at 6am and we would always go back to her place where we would usually have sex before we went to bed. Please note that prior to this night my performance had been absolutely shocking, I was at the back end of a negative feedback loop and I would cum almost instantly upon insertion. I decided that for the next 8 hours I was going to visualize fucking my girlfriend how I wanted to fuck her, hard, deep and very fast, I would occasionally glance over at her to help with my visuals. I had a boner for almost the entirety of that shift which I hid by pressing up against the conveyor belt I was stood against. I was packing deodorants into plastic containers alone so there was no real issue and no one could have suspected what I was doing. By the end of my shift, in my mind I had just had sex for 8 hours straight, in multiple positions, speeds and aggressiveness. I kid you not, when we got home I took her to bed and fucked her for hours just like I had visualized. I had done it! I had never fucked a girl like this before, she was absolutely amazed, claimed it was the best sex she ever had! I had essentially hacked the positive feedback loop through visualizing how I wanted to perform sexually for a number of hours (the technique of visualization and its affects on performance has been documented in scientific studies, google it).

The best part about it was now I had performed my A-game, my anxiety leading into sexual interactions after this was non-existent, I was now confident in my ability to perform and please my partner sexually. The positive reinforcement this created lasted for months, I didn't actually have to repeat my tactics for pumping state. However after months of no sexual performance issues I had believed that I was cured. It wasn't until my girlfriend moved to university (College) and we saw each-other around once a week that performance anxiety began to creep back into my life and I created another negative feedback loop, I had essentially forgotten the tactics i needed to use as I hadn't needed them for nearly half a year.

After my partner dropped out of university and moved back to my hometown where sex was much regular using the same visualization tactics coupled with new habits around masturbation I have essentially beaten performance anxiety (at least with this partner), however our relationship ended around 4 weeks ago and there is naturally going to be some performance anxiety when I fuck my next partner but using the same techniques I used before with RP philosophy which i recently discovered I am not nearly as worried as I have been in the past.

To summarize

  • Stop masturbating to Porn, you may be suffering from Porn Induced Premature Ejaculation. Masturbate using your imagination, It will help you to learn about arousal levels and how you can reduce them. Edging (delaying ejaculation) can also help to get your Penis desensitize and used to lasting 20-30 minutes without ejaculation. Even when I used state pumping to increase my sexual performance, sometimes triggers could still affect me and get me into a negative head space where I feel like I was fighting off orgasm, so application of both techniques was essential for me

  • Observe your recent sexual performances and recognize if you are in a negative feedback loop. If you are, research how to reduce anxiety and use the technique of state pumping regain control of this feedback loop and put it into your favor. And of course keep applying TRP logic into your life.

  • Thirdly, everyone is going to have different experiences, what worked for me may not work for you but if you are suffering it's going to be a learning process. When tackling this problem a lot of men get caught up in the physical aspect of the issue. A pharmacist wont help you, if you've taken anything from my stories realize that this issue is mainly Psychological. Observe and think smart.

For further reading I highly recommend the Sex God Method by Daniel Rose as this book helped lead me to realizations about my own sexual interactions in developing tactics to overcome P.E.

Finally I'm looking forward to finding out how The Red Pill is going to apply to my sexual performance in the future, and I may write a follow up post when I have more to report.

Good luck
