I did all I could to perform in my studies, as a result I nailed exams. I started a basic fitness routine, my objetive is to not give up after a month. Saving to buy a car... it's been a pretty good week

I was accepted into one of the best universities in the world, which I'm hugely pleased about

I got back in the gym after a 2 weeks of injury and illness. Squats hit me hard but the pain feels good

I also started planning some kind of social media marketing and partnership strategy with a successful friend of mine; this isn't quite progress because I haven't executed anything yet, but I hope something comes of it.

Negatives: fapped more than I should've. I usually keep to once a week but I lost control and did it 3 times. No biggie though, I'm making progress anyway

Pros

increased meditation time
changed workout routine from 3 days a week to 6 days a week
read (non-fiction) almost every day
day 12 of Nofap Hardmode
took a cold shower (awesome)
social anxiety decreased (can speak with people I don't know)

Cons

mind still wanders alot during meditation
still overthink stuff like a madman (mostly social experiences with women)
can feel a small oneitis creeping in (taking care of that)
realized I have an addiction to my phone/internet and to refreshing the hell out of TRP

I started the 5x5 program last week. It feels absolutely amazing powering through sets. I finished models by mark Manson, as well as the sidebar. But most importantly I came to the realization that regardless of plating women as long as I continue working on myself I'll be all the better. My previous attempts to swallow the red pill even before coming to this subreddit just from talking to reformed betas were stopped when I didn't get the girl I wanted. I was just using alpha techniques to get a beta goal. But now I see it differently.

I've been in the middle of a cut. I'm down 11.4 lbs in the past month and starting to show some abs (thanks, meal prepping). Two weeks until my vacation.

Also have become a voratious reader. I'm about to finish my 3rd book this year. I've been waking up at 6:30 AM and reading about 90 minutes before work each day.

Saving a lot of money by not drinking and by prepping all my meals. Feels really good.

-I lost 7-8 pounds this week. I hit the gym hard every day and eat an extremely strict diet. I actually need to figure out how to get more clean calories because I'm losing weight too quickly. I only have a couple more pounds to lose before my abs start to become visible.

-I quit smoking weed for a couple days. I'll resume when I feel like it but I seriously needed a break.

-Haven't gone out to eat at all, being very frugal so I can get my finances together and buy a car. I have enough money to buy one now, but I want the biggest safety net possible before I'm burdened by insurance payments etc.

I started skateboarding again after 15 years. An amazing skatepark opened up literally across the street from where i live. I was looking to add more cardio to my routine, and damn... hitting the bowl for 1-2 hours is some intense cardio.

I did have to cut down a bit on my lifting because i hurt my wrist a little and couldt hold on to weights.

I bought a bunch of web-dev courses on Udemy over the holidays. I'm diving deep into them. I want to move into front end web dev and away from digital design/ web design as there is more money there.

Booked my vacation to Playa del Carmen with an old plate of mine. She is coming down from France to spend two weeks with me.

Hit a nice 145kg x 5 Squat to depth RPE9.
Hit a nice 92.5kg x 5 Paused BenchPress RPE8
Down 3kg to 82.8kg
Nice to feel strong despite weight loss.

Social 7/10

Spent a good amount of time without looking at phone and it helps socially. I need to do that more and rely less on my phone.
Haven't been as focused on attractive body language as before.
Learned that girls do this wicked side look where they keep their head 90° compared to their pupils. they do this to hide the fact that they're looking. which is stupid as fuck. Like it's ok if I know you're checking me out. Also they do this little hair flick and look at the same time, again to check me out sneakily.
End of the week as pretty good socially, beginning not so much

Finished the sidebar except 'Manipulated Man' as its a PDF of a book so need a bit of time, plus some of the theory stuff I've yet to read. Will get round it eventually. Can really see and understand TRP going on in and around me in life now. Just started 'The Way of the Superior Man' I bought off Amazon.

Gym is going well and I'm enjoying it. Had a bad year on and off it last year, but my head's in the game atm. Need to start counting macros again, but I am eating healthy mainly and at least 4 meals today.

Still can't approach. My therapy is helping with my (social) anxieties as a whole, been going for about 5 sessions now. Bandwidth exercises coming up in the next or following session so may try to incorporate approaching with him.

Overall trying to keep my self as my priority. Havent had much progression with women but I can look back on past experiences and easily see where I went wrong [die hard BP], like to think when I do have a plate(s) I'll be able to keep it all in check and not make beta/provider movements that'll just have me used

THE GOOD:

I got two deadlift PBs deadlifting. 140kg on monday and 150kg today.
I sat down and planned next week out. I tend to forget about some of my smaller goals (french, Kaggle & harmonic) after a while. Hopefully this will help keep me focused.
I've cut down on FB, Insta and Snap by logging out each time. This prevents me mindlessly procrastinating when I have to log back in. Having an awkward password helps too.
Trained twice for tai-jitsu
Started BMC course
Went back to a shop a few days after I found out they overcharged me instead of saying 'Fuck it'.

THE BAD:

Need to get out of bed sooner and not lie on. Its a very bad habit I have.
Need to stay focused on my PHD work. Im finding it difficult some times with brain fog.
Didn't have time to train for BJJ

I’ve successfully been on keto diet for a whole month without cheating, lost 25 lbs as a result.

Had a breakthrough and no longer feel anything for my oneitis/ex/babymama.

Started a sit-up/push-up routine along with boxing workout routine on mon-wed-fri.

Becoming much more productive at work and therefore making more money (I’m a server) went from making avg 120 a day to making about 300 a day by pulling doubles everyday, not taking breaks, and taking other people’s late tables when they wanna go home and early.

Started a budget and financial plan so I can actually have some money in savings for the first time ever.

I turned 24 yesterday, and this is the first time in my life that I actually feel like I’m being an adult the correct way.

Inprovements: - Got back to TRP at the end of last week, have been reading this whole week - Ordered Models & The Rationale Male, started reading them - Started my fitness routine this week. Doing lifting 3 times a week, cardio & running 3 as well - Read the top posts in TRP as well as the sidebar. Got some links I still have to read - Continued being sober (marking a year and a half soon) and without smoking (2nd week)

Fuckups: - A potential plate (fucked once) told me she didn't want to speak anymore. That's fine, but my BP mindset still wanted to reason, which is bullshit. Broke my frame a little bit

Back at TRP, feel good to be around this sub. Eager to learn and hopefully I can contribute later on

Controlled my temper. I've found that if you show visible anger, you're breaking frame just as much as when you lie down and accept it (not the same as agree and amplify).

Realised my nutrition needed a serious review - did a complete review and now satisfied I am getting all macro and micro nutrients in correct amounts.

Also did a review of my gym workout - have gone over to much heavier weights and fewer reps to build lean muscle. Gym 3 times this week.

No beer again this week; 1 gin and tonic, 1 small glass liquer and port (Christmas presents!). Especially pleased that I drank lime and soda on a gig night with the band (would usually have 2-3 pints of beer). Took the resulting banter from the rest of the band in good heart!

Finished "The Prince"; started "48 Laws of Power".

Fails: only in the office one day this week but lay in bed too long - need to get up earlier when not at the office.

Need to be more disciplined with my daily schedule for free time.

Taking up golf one of my goals for 2018 - still haven't done anything about it.

I completed my first 5 day fast a few days ago. It was an amazing thing I had so much time on my hands because I didn't need to eat or use the bathroom also I needed less sleep and apparently that's common. Unfortunately I didn't make much use of my new found free time but it was a learning experience. I plan to do this once a month and use the time to prepare for exams and just generally improve my life.

I started working out again and I should go to a few TKD tournaments this semester.

This isn't quite an improvement over a week but over the course of many months. I took a bodpod scan to determine my exact fat and muscle ratios approximately 9 months ago.

I did another scan a couple weeks ago and I've lost 10% of my body fat and gained 25 pounds of pure muscle.

Hitting the gym four times a week, trying to get my diet totally dialed in, doing between 20-30 minutes of cardio at the end of every lifting session at the gym.

I live in Europe, I came back to Mexico City (home town) to give a IoT conference. I get some trouble In Mexico City with my mom and I lost my fly to come back Europe, the situation was so uncomfortable and annoying (I haven't been in Mexico city for almost 2 years).

I get support for my friends, dad and brother. And y get some cash to pick a fly to NYC.

From September 12 to January 12 :

Pros :

I enter in a monk mode I increase meditation time I read almost 35 books Inincreese my studies in stoic Starting learning Russian Increase 4kg of raw muscle Hit the gym 4 times x week. I stop drinking alcohol

Opportunity areas to hit:

Need to make more money Grow and improve the company in Mexico City Rise the start up in Europe and get some venture capital Improve the business skills and be more bold.

Lessons learned:

I learn to not trust in any person, I realize wish person are my real friends and Wich people is supporting me. I learn that the woman nature in this case of my mom that she always will look for his own happiness and feel secure and comfortable, that the actions have more power that the words, woman's don't do what they said also mom's. In this case she make decisions just thinking in her and her decisions affect my bro and me.

My goals :

Maximise health Maximise learning in useful shit (philosophy/finance/strategy etc) Build and rise the business Get paid. Come back Europe ( I bought the fly to Sweden for February) (done ✓)

First time taking part, setting some goals.

Primary goals for this week:

Keep a conversation going at all times - I have no problem opening on tinder, but I often don't reply again unless they're clearly into it. The aim is to reply every break time and whenever I realise they've responded.
No beer, no snacks this week - always snacking, always breaking the cut.
Converse with everyone on shift at least once - I always sit on my phone instead of being social.

Body: Go to the gym 4 times, perfect my squat form for all reps, don't go out this weekend.

Money: review all previous work experiences including all skills, successes and weaknesses for future job application use, research and decide on a REIT, make a start on one of the side hustles.

Mind: Read before bed instead of being on phone, work towards one of the desired personality traits.

This week:

-Returned to previous squatting weight with good form

-Returned to previous arnolds weight after a pre-tire exercise

-Finally completed a set of curls at a heavier weight than before (it's been MONTHS)

-Opened everyone I matched with, with improved results (greater response rate, more fun responses)

Bad -Did not read once, Gamed a lot.

Good:

Lifted without setback. I've been resting a shoulder injury. Dying to get back to 100%. Patience is difficult.
My business made another satisfied customer and $1500. I have a solid 8-5 job, but gaining successes in my personal business feels great.
Same day F closed a Bumble chick. 2 drinks, 2 bars, teasing, strong escalation, fucked all night and came down her throat while she gagged on my dick. She was pissed, but I did not care. She stopped acting mad after I didn't react, and we fucked two more times before I left. I have learned a lot from this place. Will do a FR (when posting opens back up) as there were a few interesting points to note.
Eating healthy 5 out of 7 days. Started bone broth meal replacement plan to drop some fat. Trying to kick this Keto back in to high gear.

Bad:

Met with the boys and had beers twice. It's good to socialize and build the tribe. I don't have to drink beer to hang around.
Didn't turn down pizza when I wanted to.
I have used my shoulder issue as a reason to skip leg workouts.
Not enough cardio.
Wasting too much time watching Netflix. Need to read more.

This week: Uninstalled all games / distracting things from my computer to get productive. Got the 25 minute mark at meditation. sixth week of mark laurens 90 days challenge done. Slacked of a little bit on nutrition (eaten too less calories). Next week: heading for 30 minutes of nonforced meditation. Proper calorie intake by writing my meals in my excel sheet. Studying hard for upcoming exams in 3 weeks. (2 subjects, 40% of knowledge accumulation each). keeping my focus on reactive behaviour (people have problems -> i "want" to help)

Not much progress in working out, will focus on that.

i finally went to the gym today for the first time. After hamstering about it for years i said enough was enough and fucking did it, which is a big achievement for me. Didn't have the courage to get to the free weights though so i hit the treadmill instead - better than nothing. Still getting over this (stupid) anxiety i have about everyone "watching you" in the gym so will stick to treadmill until i get comfortable and build a habit of going to the gym. Then the lifting will begin. Big fail on the weekend though, broke my promise of staying sober for a month and ended up out on the piss, even worse took another substance to enjoy myself. Was a good night so not too bothered by it but my willpower went out the window. Onward + upwards

Positives

Finally, back at uni after a long holiday and feeling more productive than
ever.
Reading the 48 laws of power megathread with comments, blog and book at once
to fully understand each law.
Back at the gym and cut out the BS exercises the instructor told me at
induction and got myself a proper beginner routine.
Back to eating properly and cooking healthy meals.
Cut out distractions and reprioritised my daily routine.
Making great progress with my hobby.
Studying and getting lecture notes organised.
Finally attempting to stop watching porn/masturbating and 2 days strong (Was bothering me constantly putting it under the negatives header).
Had my first cold shower today (albeit not intentionally...), felt like crap especially in combination with a mint shower gel, but felt good after because I didn't pussy out.

Negatives

Not drinking enough water.
Doing each activity, a little to casually.
Keep thinking about sex/girls (Might be a by-product of the nofap).

My focus for the coming week

Keep going gym.
Post on the weekly progress thread next week.
Try and drink more water.
Increase efficiency of my daily routing and minimise distractions.
Keep the routine strong.

P.s Feels amazing looking at the positive to negative ratio and it's really improving my confidence and IDGAF mentality.

I’ve kept my gym routine ( going 4 days a week), also I have got ahead on work for college. Got some potential deals going for my business.

But I still spend upwards of 90 minutes a day on my phone, also I am still really overthinking things whether school/game/etc.
