With the celebrity photo leaks, there is a big push underway to criminalize and stiffen the penalties for so-called "involuntary porn" or "revenge porn." There's going to be cries for more police resources, and even federal agencies to get involved in "revenge porn" allegations -- and this is very bad news for men.

Think about it. All an angry ex has to do is upload some nude, or even just suggestive pictures of herself and say that you did it. This is going to be one of those twisted scenarios where you have to prove your innocence, and that will be difficult. By that time the police will have already kicked down your door and confiscated your computers, phones, and tablets. Your name will be all over the six o'clock news, and your reputation in the community shot to hell.

Things will be even worse on college campuses where due process for accused men is a thing of the past. Are they going to risk their funding over possible Title IX infringements by assuming you are innocent and making the accuser prove it was you who "leaked" the photos? Hell no. Your academic career will be over, and good luck getting admitted to another campus.

It's coming, trust me. Angry women out there have thought about it and probably even tried it already. The only thing keeping this from becoming a weapon to be used against men is that legislators haven't gotten around to it yet. Right now it's still basically "you took nudes of yourself, assume some personal responsibility." And we all know how personal responsibility really isn't agreeable to the modern feminist.
