I am well into monk mode thanks to #nonothingnovember

The latest vice I've given up is fapping. My testosterone is through the roof. I thought if I could stop smoking I can stop fapping.

So let me tell you what my version of monk mode has taught me (my version being, no social media, not actively seeking sex, sleeping better, improving health and fitness etc):

  1. Chasing women is long. I went for a local drink with a thirsty friend of mine who has a thing for milfs. I don't take womens numbers down anymore. I just give mine out. Contact me if you want. I don't care either way. Previously I'd take that number get all excited about the texts back etc. Can't be bothered.

  2. I am far more confident from nofap. Yes, its true. The staring, the walking tall. The testosterone. You should try it.

  3. My brain isn't poisoned by the bullshit in social media. Its very easy to read a meme, a post and see a girls facebook as what you should be like. But when you delete yourself all that social validation crap, you realise how poisonous it can be for your frame. Eliminate most television too.

  4. Lack of social media gives you more time to focus on reading, expanding your mind, your health, fitness and chilling the fuck out. Lifes stressful, you do not repeat DO NOT need to be going out all the time chasing pussy. I've enjoyed evenings doing stretching and reading whilst listening to chilled music. Whats better for my health?

  5. I've studied comedians and am learning to be funnier. They have a charm, and whilst being funny is always my thing I've developed a skill to put a humourous twist on almost anything. It's a powerful tool.

  6. Grown a beard, the masculine comments I get are hilarious but interesting.

  7. Most importantly of all, my social set has changed. I hung out with the same people, it was boring. It got me nowhere. It was bullshit, so I learnt to be content with myself. I actually enjoy spending time with myself more then ever before. This was my biggest beta quality I had. I was overly keen with women, even friends, it came across needy and scared girls off in the past. Suddenly now I am mysterious, and "dark." What? Because I have a beard, I don't go out to clubs hardly, and don't really drink? People are funny.
