I got catfished a couple times online dating. First one the chick must have used pictures from highschool. In person she had full sleeved tattoos, her ears were swiss cheese like you couldn't fit one more earring in there and she was about 40 pounds heavier. second one girl used "athletic" for her body type which in her mind meant she identified as athletic because she played basketball 7 years ago and completed a 5k once. she wasn't terrible looking but I'm not into liars, gave her the same treatment as the first one.

Always ask for a photo less than 6 months old. If one of hers is less than that, she can point it out. I found when you ask for it, 80 percent of them ghost you. Let some other guy meet those girls, they're just going to waste your time.
When you meet, never for dinner, meet outside the venue. Not looking like her photos? "Nice meeting you" and you're gone.

Online dating is a numbers game and you can't get to large numbers if you waste time on fatties. Be more direct and you can succeed at it.

Note: zoosk has people who check their photos for you. They'll give them instructions: hold up two fingers, etc and then check that photo against their other photos. If they match, they get a verified label.

Lol. Reminds me of what happened to an old friend of mine. Basically he meets up with this girl, he thought she was okay from the photos. Can't remember exactly what it was about her, but when he meets up with her she is not what was advertised. Needless to say he was disappointed. Later on he tells her he needs to go to the toilet. My case of this was not quite as bad. Not smoking.... hair short but not purple at least... A lot of extra pounds and years compared to photos...

I've met up with a lot of people that I found online and if we are texting I sometimes have them send a pic of themself doing something simple like holding up 3 fingers. If they can't do that much they obviously aren't that interested in hooking up. It's always been the shady, too good to be true ones that fail this test.

Likewise they often ask for one back, but since I am actually the person I portray in my pictures, that isn't a problem.
