Edit: I just posted this, and sure enough I run into this, not even an hour later. This is a decidedly weekend post

Note 1: I am going to unofficially tag this post as "Entitlement princess", "Bailout", "epiphany phase" and "Strong Independent Woman" for reasons I hope will be clear at the end.)

I recently stumbled upon a site called ovarit. I only found this just yesterday, so I do not have a back story or history on this place, so keep that in mind. But it appears to be a radical feminist website, and is full of content that would might imagine on such a site.

The big issue of the week seems to be how trans-rights are hurting women. Skimming through a few of their posts and related links, I have found that some women are seeking OUR help! They are asking for support against the rise of trans-women in sports (to name one big issue for them).

As I was reading various comments, it hit me: This is exactly like a the epiphany phase, writ large.

Just as some women hit a point at which they realize that their life choices have done them harm, so too are feminists starting to realize that their own logic and political approaches can be turned against them.

I will refrain from taking a strong stance on any of this. None of this makes any sense to me at all. For me, it is like watching two people argue violently about how to pronounce "macaroni" - it is simply not my thing and I could not care less about this issue.

But this also aligns with several posts that predicted the rise of the "neo-trad" woman. These are women who suddenly realize that prostitution (for example) is not for them, so they are "reclaiming" their virginity. No joke, look it up.

This is an extension of that trend. Women are seeking out male support to combat what they see as sexism against women by trans people.

My answer to that is: Not my problem. Good luck. Also, stop being transphobic, bigots.
