Spot on. I hate hearing the stories where some wahmen had a wild past and did everything under the sun with other guys, but with beta buck it is missionary position once a month. Instead of the casual pump and dump (P&D), all the responsibilities of real life get dumped on the shoulders of the future husband and/or LTR partner.
This is the issue of why the past matters, for me anyways, because being in an LTR or being married is difficult, way more difficult than being #4 in the gangbang (GB). Looking for someone who kept themselves chaste and showed prudence in selecting a sexual partner, because it means they saved themselves for you, you are not taking 100th place to other dudes. It makes you more special than everyone else.
As mentioned in other posts, access to a woman's sexuality is essentially a gift or something they can bring to the table in a relationship, and that is true because life is a competition, that is the natural order of things. I am not interested in other dudes playing in my sandbox.
Other than leaving, there is only really one solution I could see to his dilemma. If he stayed with her, than I would ask for an equal playing field. "Well, if you had a gangbang with 4 guys, then I want to have sex with you and three of you female friends." Anything you did with other guys has to be on the table. None of this, that was then and things are different now. No, you don't get to fulfill the fantasy of other guys and I get vanilla sex and all the responsibilities that comes with going through real life with someone else. My other thought would be that she would have to get a "princess surgery" and some other cosmetic work done so you get an upgraded version. There is no option of just getting shit on and looking like a chump.

I am a paramedic and I can say without a doubt that the majority of female paramedics are very slutty and VERY DAMAGED.

It's about mentality and maturity, i've been like this ever since i was younger. Whenever i talked to girls i always felt like something was off about them, regardless of their personality or attitude, and i've seen a wide range over the years from the most unpleasant to the least unpleasant.
The idea here is you're looking to share your life, which may include your firsts (experiences), with someone you can actually trust who will be there for you. Hard to do that when the women aren't loyal and can ditch you, dump you, or make some lame excuse when they're not honest enough to say they're just bored of you and want to move on to the next piece of meat.
I have tried casual e-dating and chatting up girls irl with pretty similar results. It never got to a point where i seriously considered i could trust the girl to take the next steps with them. Too much unpredictable, irrational or downright suspicious behavior.
We don't all just want to get "laid", literally what i said in short form; it's about having a life partner who will be there for you, respect you and value you as much as you will respect them, value them and honor them while staying loyal.
I understand this might strike you as odd or seem like an out-dated way of thinking, but guys like me still exist, even young guys. We just grew up differently and our experiences in life shaped us. Personally i came from a very dysfunctional family (both parents really bad) so i learned all the signs of what to look for when pursuing your own future relationships and family, even as that might seem like wishful thinking for the most part.
Peace, honesty, decency and stability matter the most in life. No point in it, even if you're getting "laid", when you're living in constant drama and insanity. Not worth the trouble and it destroys your physical and mental health & well-being.

Not the same guy, but I can give my take on it.
When people say they want a relationship to matter or be special, part of that is that it's based on honesty and that you're not holding anything back. People in a relationship they believe is special will say things, do things, and let themselves believe things that they wouldn't do for anyone else.
So if you're going to spill your heart to someone, tell them secrets, let them see you cry, spend money on them, take time away from hobbies for them, get a home with them, etc, it's because you believe your partner is honest, and that the relationship is special, and that you trust they have only good intentions.
So first, finding out they've done the same thing with 5 other dudes can make it feel less special, but regardless most men won't care about a list of relationships 5 long anyway. It's chump change by modern standards.
Far more damaging is a mindset that allows someone to sleep with 10 people, 15 people, 30 people, 50 people, or so many you lost count, as if they don't matter. Saying "those were just flings, they don't matter" is actually very likely to backfire and make it worse. The mindset is much more destructive to the relationship than any particular number. It shows that someone views their partners as basically disposable. This is automatically harmful to the belief that a relationship with that person is special.
And if partners are disposable, if the relationship isn't special, then why trust the person with all the emotions you shared with them and all the time and energy you spent on them? Sharing so much with someone gives them emotional power over you, and you don't want to give someone that much power only to realize later that they weren't taking things as seriously as you, or didn't have your interests at heart, or even deceived you for their own comfort.
It makes the guy ashamed that he gave so much of himself to that person, which then translates into anger over time as the shame turns into scar tissue.
So when people say "treat the gun as if it's loaded" in this case, I think they mean, "don't invest so much energy and effort and emotional presence into a person who treats sex and relationships like games for her amusement."
You might notice that women get very similar advice from people in their lives. The main difference I can see is that when women get the advice, it's treated as common knowledge that lots of guys use their partners as lewd entertainment. While when men get the same advice, it has to be phrased as "regardless of how much you've been lied to by media and simps, women will totally use you as lewd entertainment too." Then people get offended by this advice, and say it's sexist, because "obviously" there are no shallow or selfish women. If men sleep around, they're using women. If women sleep around, that's supposedly not using men, but rather living her best life. This double standard and the dishonesty surrounding it is responsible for most of the anger men feel on this subject, which gets directed as anger against the entire system that enables the double standard, as well as all women who are seen as silently going along with it.
There are both men and women who want exclusively longer term traditional relationships, but those women are warned to stay away from self-centered guys who will use them for sex, while men are told that it's bigoted of them to stay away from women who have pasts that indicate they will do the same thing, as then you're "shaming them for what they do with their bodies." Imagine if a dude railed 4 girls in a single night and then the next week tried to claim he's changed and hit on a woman who you were friends with and knew for a fact only wanted long-term love. Would you feel like someone should warn her of his habits? I would say so. Only men can't warn each other of the same thing without being bigots.
The "price" you asked about is the same thing in both cases. The price is getting your heart broken by someone who cared far less than you did and made you ashamed of caring so much for them.
This response of mine is based entirely on the assumption that this is a guy who actually wants a traditional family. If it's a dude who wants to sleep around and then complain about women doing the same, then idk, I don't get them either.

Well, that's true in spirit, but if you want to look at the statistics objectively, some people in this sub might be disappointed. First off, for women, it's just around 3 percentage points less likely to get divorced than women with 2-3 sex partners, so not a huge difference (and it makes me wonder about the honesty of survey respondents...) The trend becomes a lot more noticeable around 10+ sexual partners.
What's unexpected is that it's MEN who have only had 1 sex partner who are way, way more likely to express marital happiness and much less likely to want a divorce. In fact, significantly more likely than the "virgin bride."

Crazy thing I personally know 3 of them with a 4th still untouched but she has a wild streak so I’m not sure the record will hold. I’m not sure how their moms did it but my step daughters were virgins.
