Dude you’re letting her get to you wether you show it or not. This whole post is about her. When she starts yelling and throwing shit just say something along the lines of “I’m gonna go do x(gym, ride motorcycle, go for a run, read a book etc) when you can down and ready to talk let me know” and calmly go do what you said. No one needs to put up with that kind of verbal and physical bullshit. When things escalate like that you need to STFU and remove yourself from the situation. Not only will it calm things down but also to avoid some sort of provocation from her or her going full psycho and calling the police for the mere action of defending yourself. No woman is worth a DV charge.

If you’re not willing and able to enforce a boundary, the boundary doesn’t exist. If you allow her to verbally and physically abuse you, she will probably keep doing it no matter how great you become. At some point she needs to fucking KNOW (not think) that you are not a punching bag. Learn to hit back by leaving her ass, or you’ll just have to learn how to take a beating.

Has she always been like this, or just since you "changed." Sounds like she's reacting to the power shift you're attempting to implement. In my relationship, I saw some pretty crazy reactions from my wife early on - usually when she didn't get the response she had grown accustomed to getting from me (stopped being her good little beta boy and started asserting my needs). She usually followed those shitty actions up with apologies and comfort seeking though... not next level craziness like you're getting.

Either she doesn't value, or doesn't think your weak ass will do anything about it. Whenever my woman even raises her voice to me, I've begun disengaging (go lift, get shit done) and tell her we can discuss the matter when she's ready to act like a big girl.

Do some more reading here about the concept of Rambo. In the situations you describe, ask yourself: "Did I do/say/refuse that because I'm pissed at her for acting the cunt, or was it because thats how things should be?"

You already showed that you have fucked up STFU by literally going mute, hence her calling you brainless etc. Read up on that too.

Keep one ear open to the shit she spews. I found that its useful feedback on where I was failing to OMS. Say nothing about it though, just give some consideration to whether stuff she's ragging at you about is shit you should be owning. (If so, fix that. If not, fuck her)

She feels trapped because she married a nice compliant Beta who provided comfort and $$ and now she sees him turning into an Alpha Fuckboi who is no longer providing the comfort and she doesn't want the fuckboi any more. This behavior is very much a strike but we are not out of the game yet.

Use of the "D" word should not ever be used in a married home. Divorce is like Concealed Carry. Just showing somebody your weapon to threaten them is a crime called "Brandishing" and you don't pull out your weapon unless you intend to use it. Then and only then you aim at center mass and empty your clip into the target. Use of the Divorce Threat is a bright Red Line and Strike 2.

If I was coaching you my first assignment for you would probably be to take some leadership and completely end the use of the word "divorce" in your house. This is a Red line and if she wants to use it as a bludgeon it is not a marriage but a hostage situation and you are the one trapped.
