Been lurking for a few weeks, reading and absorbing. My sex life is not great and a lot of what I read here makes sense. I have been the classic loser submissive beta with no clue and no friends. But, a lot of the advice also seems to counter what I also observe in real life. The advice here says that to fix a low sex marriage I need to lift weights, get a nice body, dress well, have a cool temper under shit testing, and not play video games. I see why all those would be good things to do especially if you're not already married, but I also see almost no married men in real life like that. If those things are required to have a good married sex life, and like 1% of the the married male population is doing those things, then that means 99% of married men out there are having bad sex lives and I have trouble believing that.

At countless superbowl parties across the country tonight, there are not-in-shape dudes drinking beers in regular wash jeans and tshirts with a sports team on it, who may also enjoy video games. But they also have a lot of guy friends, and like hanging out, drinking beer, playing poker, watching football, and playing video games and being boisterous. I can't imagine they are all closet losers with bad sex lives, and their way of living sounds easier, more fun, and cheaper than the lifestyle of clean diets, weightlifting programs, and fashion consciousness recommended here.

My question then, as an admitted loser on the outside of both worlds, why should I not be aiming for the more achievable target of just getting more friends and hanging out doing what most "non-loser" married men are doing. Can my bedroom problems not be solved equally well by working to become a boisterous, likeable guy who hangs out a lot at buffalo wild wings drinking beer as becoming a rare unicorn bodybuilder/high fashion playboy? Why can't I just be a superbowl alpha?
