Does the constant competition/fight for status stress you guys out?

Let me tell you about the opposite first. The opposite is comfort and complacent.

Comfort and complacent is warm and nice, it feels better to go the path of least resistance. Why go the gym today I ache ? Fuck it I'll have a pot noodle, I don't have the time to cook. Nah I'll watch Netflix instead of reading a book, I deserve it. Then New Years hits and you realise that for the last year you've been stuck in a perpetuating state of mediocrity but at least I felt great in the interim right ?

Then you get stuck, what use to be standard discipline now takes motivation to complete (a very scarce source). You get lost, you don't know your bearings anymore because you let your guard down. Is that a shit test or a complacent test ?

I don't need to talk to new girls it's too much effort I'm happy where I am, essentially creating your own grave by doing so. Your girl leaves because you let your guard down and became complacent, but Atleast you've got the ability to pull new chicks right ? Wrong you got complacent and mediocre, you lost the skills you had to attain and keep her.

By enjoying short term happiness you rob the future you of greater happiness.

It gets easier; being competitive becomes effortless it's just you're at the base of the pyramid with everyone else trying to fight for the top position. Most guys crash and burn or become distracted. The strong guys develop coping mechanisms, feel stressed ? Have a wank, meditate; whatever.

The games hard but it's rewarding, it becomes easier and you learn to adapt to your stresses. Keep going , don't get complacent :)

Everyone else ITT is beating around the bush with drawn out hyperbole to soften the blow, but here's some cold reality.

It's stressful as fuck, and it never really gets better. But honestly it's 100x better than being a sexless beta bitchboy.

This is not the WBA. It's more like surfing. Once you get to a certain skill level, it's smooth and there are no ups and downs. You just catch the wave and enjoy the ride.

sometimes I take a few days for myself and do whatever I want to do, Ill call people when I feel like talking, as much as I love me theres only so much time I can spend with myself before I want to interact with others and then im off to the races again.

Pushing myself forward isn't stressful. I know at the end of the day it's not the end of the world. I follow my diet and lifting programs, I try my best to push my career forward.

Just because you might not become top dog doesn't mean you failed. TRP sometimes forgets there's a spectrum. Maybe you won't ever be full dark triad, but if you are happy with your lot in life, why stress?

Someone else talked alot about being complacent but let's face it, if that's what you want do it. If it's painful and a chore to make yourself improve, stop, if you want.

I enjoy lifting. I enjoy eating right. I enjoy working hard. My career is the only thing that may cause stress at times, it's bound to happen. You just have to stay the course, or, if you think there's something better jump ship. I know the work and small stresses I go through are worth it.

Don't make your life about other people.

Work out to be the best you can be. Your body is the vessel you live your life through.

Separate competition from your self imagine as a winner or loser.

Winning or losing is separate from being a winner or loser.

If I do not live an authentic life I would think of myself as living the life of a loser. To be a loser is to not live my life based on my values.

Only I can decide if I'm living my life as a winner or loser and it is not measured against or by how others live their life.

I win at life to the degree I honor myself and my life.

Until you stop measuring yourself against others you will not discover who you are or what you are meant to be as that which you could become.

You will simply be an echo of everyone else.

The stress is an indication you are competing for the wrong reasons

Step out of the herd by not competing with it for those reasons that keep you in the herd that should not.

It doesn't matter if you settle for a 5 or 10, you still have to game every woman. That being said, a 7 with an awesome personality and loyalty is way better than a self entitled 10. Looks aren't everything man. But you'll still have to game your 7 to keep her interested. It's just their nature.

Then stop fighting. Stop improving. Be a stagnant, mediocre, status-quo version of yourself. I'm sorry to say, but I'm not sorry that you have no backbone, no drive, no ambition to be the best version of yourself at all times. You don't deserve the best of anything. You don't even deserve anything because you're not willing to work for anything. As much as TRP is focused on being attractive to women, at the same time it's not. It's focused on being attractive to yourself. I admit that there are lost cases, be it caused by deeply ingrained indoctrination or by virtue of genetic inferiority, but until you try to gun for it and actually believe that it will work, if only to test one self's limits, you will never know whether your inability stems from simply being lazy, or actual physical or psychological barriers. The one thing that causes people to not want to even make an attempt at becoming attractive is fear of defeat. You cannot fear defeat. Fear is the biggest driver of personal failures.
