Hi guys.

I've seen a lot of talk on here about oneitis or posts from guys with oneitis, whether they've accepted it or not.

Oneitis, for those who don't know, is an unhealthy infatuation with one girl (or guy).

I've seen a lot of people say things like "oneitis is a disease."

It's not. It's a symptom. Poor inner game is the underlying cause.

The only times I have seen an infatuation with a girl that was not caused by poor inner game have been in healthy, married couples.

99% of the time, it's unhealthy.

What's underneath the surface?

How many times have you seen someone on here say they were in the middle of an interaction and blew it by "falling back into my old AFC ways"?

This is another symptom of having poor inner game.

What's happening to these men is that, deep down inside, they are insecure. They do not see themselves as "enough." They do not see themselves as having value to give. They see the women they interact with as being of higher value than them.

This causes us to obsess over one woman, to our detriment. This causes us to lose our frame and blow sets or destroy attraction. This causes guys to be creepy, staring at girls from a distance. This is the disease that plagues every AFC on this planet.

How do I fix this?

Some gurus advocate telling yourself, "I'm enough."

I want to take it a step further. Tell yourself, "I'm fucking awesome."

YOU are THE MAN! NO ONE in ANY SETTING is of higher value than you.

I don't care if you're at a rock concert watching the Stones doing their thing. You should BELIEVE in your mind, "Man, Mick Jagger is a rock god. It's too bad he won't get the chance to meet me and see how FUCKING AWESOME I am. Oh well, his loss."

To instill this mentality requires EFFORT. It requires introspection and time invested.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS look for the positive in every experience of your entire life. It's okay to analyze what went wrong, but leave the negativity associated with it elsewhere.

How many of you guys know someone who is very negative? Chances are he is looking for the negative in everyone and everything because, deep down inside, he is insecure and feels he does not have much value to contribute to the world. His entire worldview is clouded with negativity because that's all he knows.

Whereas guys who KNOW deep down inside how awesome they are can naturally see the positive. Their mind seeks it out and casts the negativity to the curb.

Both of these guys are stuck in self-reinforcing spirals. The difference is only one is a pleasure to be around and attractive to women.

I want you all to be genuinely introspective for a moment. Do you feel deep down inside that you're awesome? If you don't (and very few men do, so don't feel bad!) then you've got some work to do.
