I get a lot of DMs from girls on Instagram because I post travel, parties, watches, cars, flashy stuff and have a lot of connections to girls in the Las Vegas nightclub world. I think I‘ve only followed up with maybe two or three total in last five years. The social media connection never turns out to be what people think it will be by looking at the pictures.

Cold approach is put on a pedestal in this sub.

I believe in it, and think it helps contribute to being attractive, but in terms of efficiency, there is absolutely no way cold approach comes close to the amount of women you can meet through online dating and social media if you are effective.

If you have some sort of clout, influence, or effectively portray an attractive lifestyle on Instagram or social media, that is like fishing with dynamite.

There’s a misconception that you’re only ‘good with women’ if you cold approach. You’re good with women if any avenue works for you, whether it’s online or through cold approach, or social circle. Social circle is also trashed on this sub, but for college age and younger professionals, it can be massively successful, especially if you get a positive reputation and have social momentum.

What determines if you’re ‘good with women’ is if you’re good on dates, keep them interested, and can escalate sexually in a short period of time.

I want to meet someone IRL but it seems like I don’t get many looks.

Where as on tinder I get matches, DMs, and meetups.

In person if feels like I get “no matches”.

Honestly I think it’s because dating is shifting more online every year.

I have never given my number to a guy who has approached me on the street or wherever… I don’t really go to clubs/bars etc.. but the reasons are..

Don’t find them attractive enough
I can smell from a mile all the want is a hook up
Their pick up like was silly/creepy/weird (pretty face and no brain is a no)
They approached me in inappropriate time when I clearly was not interested
They are too pushy to take my number and won’t take no for an answer that’s crossing a boundary- red flag.. Give me YOUR number instead. If I think you are cute… I will reach out..
They just gave me bad vibe

Online much easier… when I date actively I will chat to a ton of people, maybe have 3-6 dates a week (usually something easy to get out if it goes bad).. 99% I won’t go beyond a first date with… unless I see you as a boyfriend material, I am not fucking you either…

but bad news is that it means your in-person game is $hit... u dont know how to approach and talk to women... also the quality of online women is much lower than in-person...And most likely the women u meet online will not want to meet you beyond 1 date..

There are groupies for every activity you can think of.

Currently into adult coed soccer leagues… (could be kickball/volleyball/ whatever type of chick you’re into)… I’ve played a couple seasons now and realize I have a bunch of chicks phone numbers by default - helps if you’re the captain and organize the games/ tell people positions to play.

Met up one of these girls from a previous team the other night… could tell she interested in me from the previous season, now that we aren’t on the same team it won’t get weird.

It’s a system at this point, there’s a few other girls in the pipeline. I’m in multiple different soccer leagues in my city. Takes a couple seasons to really build a network

Can take it a step further and organize a worldcup watch party at a bar somewhere and bring a few chicks that I know and have rapport with from these leagues. Pick up other at the bar

maybe this sparks some ideas… Cold approach solo is cool but you can leverage a lot of different social aspects to help you as well
