Personally, porn has made me almost asexual. The downsides of it were horrible for me to get laid. I was still successful with women, but when I got the chance to get laid my libido was so low that I straight up wasn’t turned on. By avoiding porn for at least two weeks, I’m completely back to normal again

For me specifically it is the opposite. Quitting porn is giving more confidence to me and I regret I found ways to deal with this too late. It ruined too many years of my life. Maybe somewhere it allowed me to explore myself but I really really wish it was done another way. Dopamine rush burned me out, I wasted lots of time and fell back.

In my experience, women who watch porn are drawn more to the kinkier stuff, which suits me fine

I guess they're turned on less by the visuals and more be the ideas, like domination, punishment, restraint, etc...

But i have had small stints (week here and there) where it went into addiction territory. I watched too much and felt so riled up i struggled to sleep.

Now I keep it on the low. Watch about 2 times per week for an hour or so. And make sure to cum every time. I find this gives me maximum upside and minimal downside. If I just watch without cumming that's where the addiction begins to hit because I get riled up but don't quite "come down" from the dopamine rush unless I cum.

It otherwise doesn't affect my game at all.

Personally with me I'm indifferent to it.

Obviously their are ups and downs about it. And as long as corn consumption doesn't take over my life nor anyone else's lives then it's a fine way to pass the time.

Understandable that my backstory with it will be different than someone else's backstory on them.

However,it's best to be mindful about what you consume online.

Also,I don't personally believe that it has negatively impacted me from what I can tell here in approaching women.

If anything my problem in that department is finding hangout spot where young adult's hang at. Among other things that I don't have currently.

After my relationship, you’re now more aware how unrealistic those videos are. Men and women do need to be aware about the possible effects such as unrealistic standards, how porn is actually spliced, etc.

Additionally as a guy, you need to be aware that porn + masturbation feels VERY different from actual sex. The amount of hand pressure vs vaginal pressure, etc.

No but I try to do it in moderation and not exclusively use it.

If you beat off to porn every time you are horny, you’re not bringing your best in many areas of life. If you beat off sparingly, you’re not damaging yourself and some doctors would say you’re lowering your risk of prostate cancer or whatever.

I have no qualms with people who wholly abstain, but the body and mind are quite pliant. If you notice it’s harming you or killing your drive for life or to engage women, simply stop or judiciously cut back
