When you begin to intertwine money, especially a lot of it, into relationships things change dramatically. In the example that you gave, apparently the hot gf wasn't getting what she wanted from the rich dude. I know a woman personally who was married to a very wealthy, self made businessman. He owned his own business and was a millionaire. This woman was giving her 😻 out both pant legs for a number of years. She eventually met someone who she told she loved, she was leaving her husband for him etc. She had no intention of leaving that money.
