Most of the time, I think women make up their decision about you before they know what car you own.

That said, a really nice car can get you noticed. Women who you see regularly (where you live, work, and exercise) will see you getting in and out of it. As always, it's up to you to make a move.

I think "fun" cars (Jeep Wrangler) matter more than "nice" cars (Audi sedan) but this is just an extension of fun itself being important.

In 2021 almost all commuter cars look pretty alright and function well. It's not what it used to be.

TL;DR Not important.

So many people are overthinking this question so much, obviously having a filthy, rusty old car that you don’t maintain is not gonna help you but that’s more about what it says about you and your personality. If you’ve a very average and normal car but it’s clean inside and out and you look after it, you’re fine. Doesn’t even need to be an expensive car, you just need to show you’re not an undisciplined person

It does, and it doesn’t. I’d say age makes a difference in this avenue.

If you’re under 25, if you feel like a nice car is what’s holding you back from getting girls, it’s more so you than the car. I learned that the hard way myself.

Now, if you’re pushing 30 or over and you feel like having a nice car would bolster your chances, you may be right.

No. I'm a city person, born and bred, and will die here. My father's family are New Yorkers, and so he never learned to drive until my parents got married and Mum taught him. I think my auntie still doesn't drive, either. I don't drive and I admit, I don't want to. In Europe, this is not an uncommon phenomenon, either.

If a woman gives a shit about this, you don't want her.

Does your car matter?

A few factors:

1) It depends on whether they see you as the alpha guy they just met and are going to fuck, or the beta provider guy they are gonna get married and be taken care of with....

2) It depends on your age, and the age of the girl you're dating.. If you're both 16, you can show up in almost anything.. it beats taking the bus or getting your parents to drive you somewhere... If you're both in your late 30's, you should have made it by now, and girls will be more demanding... i.e. the older you are, the worse this gets...

3) Finally, it depends to what extreme, the car is really good or bad.. If you're along a bell curve, anything from lets say 2010 Toyota Camry to a 2021 Acura TLX... these are all going to be middle of the road bland okay (pass the test cars)..... If you're going to show up in a Mercedes S class, BMW 7 series, etc.. you might get a bit more points but not much.. and if you show up in a lambo.. she will take pics with you and her and the car, and it will increase the attraction instantly... if you show up with a rusted shit box with 3 colors on it, then her comfort level will drop...

My car has no AC, smells like gas, and is slammed on coilovers... I’m pretty sure an Audi would bump me up a few points. But just remember, Eliot Rodger had a nice car but no girl, so there’s more to it than materials

I think yes, but not in the usual instance. For me, getting my dream car (79 Z28) would help me get girls, but it wasnt the car that got the girls, its the way it changed me, getting my dream car fills a hole in me and it made me more confident and gives me a goal to work towards ( fixing the car up ). The majority of girls likes confidence over anything else.

Can't be generalized at all. Hoes, gold diggers and attention seekers will be out for it. The individual character of the woman matter here alot. I've talked about this with chicks and thrown the line "Some chicks like the car more than the guy". She agreed. (She had girlfriends like that). So be careful. A good chick wont give a shit about your car when she likes YOU.

TLTR: My last gf was previously with a very rich guy. She was kinda out for the money usually she admitted, not in my case though. After all she dismissed him for me while I'm not rich at all.

Wait until car prices after the pandemic. We’re in an artificially inflated market for many goods, especially used and new cars. Demand is through the roof, although interest rates are low.

I have a 2016 Corolla with black rims. Does it’s job and I’ll save for 18 months then get myself a nice 1-3 year old used German car for my 30th birthday.

It does depend in the girl and the car. I went on a date not too long ago where the girl asked me what type of car I drive. I told her I drive an old Nissan and she laughed saying to stop playing. I used to drive an old lifted toyota tho and would tell girls I was straight country even tho Im clearly not. This seemed ti work pretty good. But ya a car does play a good part too,

OP: It all depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for something real and meaningful, then not as much. If you're looking for someone to have sex with, well. I think it still doesn't matter, lol. The girls who fuck you because they like your car are probably gonna offer a clunky experience. Steer clear of any women who ask you about your car as a requisite.

i guess it depends on your financial status. if you got some money earned already and wanna have a nicer car, go for it. but if the car eats up like 50% of you income just to show of its probably not worth

It doesn't matter to most. What does matter is that you care about what you have. So keep it clean and free from rubbish, like you would your clothes, home, body, etc. To show that you have respect for things.

The people who care about the price tags on things have different expectations - which is fine - but there are many who are looking for a good, respectful person to be with, not just a fancy car to share.

Don't have, not a priority to me. Too much of a financial hassle. Too unsafe to have one, they're carjacking everywhere where I live. I like the simple life, I like walking everywhere. Cheaper to pay for transport than for gas, permits, maintenance, etc. Will only get one if absolutely necessary, not interested in a show off car. It's supposed to be a tool.

Dressing well can improve your physical appearance. I don’t think a car does that. All that matters to me is that it’s reliable. A car isn’t even necessarily a sign of success or wealth as I know many people who have money but just don’t care to have a car for anything other than practical purposes. Plenty of wealthy dudes driving 12 year old Hondas and Toyotas.
