Not the best way to go about approaching a woman in public. Next time, try giving them a compliment. It'll come off as more genuine and sound less creepy than you just telling her right off the bat she's hot. I'd even recommend throwing in a pickup line (smooth, not corny) for good measure. If she's receptive to you, THEN ask for a Snapchat or Instagram

Tja mannen! Du ska va stolt, inte många vågar daygamea, speciellt inte här i Sverige hahahh. Tur för oss som håller på med detta för med rätt strategi så sticker man ut bland alla andra killar och tjejen kommer se dig som en modig kille med mycket confidence.

Ett tips är att istället gå från opener > close så är det mer optimalt med opener > "små prat" > close och sen lite till prat, för att planera va ni ska göra på dejten.

Det är även väldigt bra att säga något i stil med "ursäkta, detta är lite random men..." innan uttrycker vad man såg i henne.

Exempel: "Ursäkta, detta är lite random, jag va påväg att träffa min kompis o såg dig o va ba tvungen att säga hej. Jag heter ..."

Va också beredd på att carya samtalet i början tills det att hon vant sig vid dig.

Och sist men inte minst och enligt mig det viktigaste av allt är att ändra din syn på det hela med "daygame". Istället för att gå fram och snacka med en tjej för att se om hon gillar dig så vill du se om hon lever upp till dina standarder. Är hon smart, äventyrlig, rolig o.s.v. Är hon en party tjej eller en "nice" girl. Snusar hon eller röker hon eller inget alls. Vilka är hennes intressen? Detta kommer göra så att hon tror att du är intresserad av henne än mer än bara utseendet och du kommer bli lite mer av en utmaning, istället för en typisk needy boy som gör och håller med allt som tjejen säger/gillar.

Det allra sista jag har o säga är att glöm inte att släppa lös o inte va så stel/seriös. Va lite rolig, dra något skämt, så kommer både du o tjejen ha en rolig upplevelse.

Med mer erfarenhet kommer du eventuellt lyckas, så de ba o kämpa på!

Good for you for putting yourself out there! That's literally the hardest part is just approaching.

And there's nothing wrong with being direct and making your intent clear. I'm positive one of the major reasons for getting turned down, other than the boyfriend which could have been a lie, is that no connection or comfort was established before asking for the number. Maybe you were in a hurry or just didn't think to do this, but try to talk to her for a bit before a number close because otherwise you come off as just being into her purely for her looks.

Otherwise, as far as just approach practice goes, nice work and keep it up

lpt. If you compliment a girl, be specific, and don't necessarily go for her looks. Compliment her in a way that makes her feel empowered and accomplished. Some easy areas to go for are.

- Hair style.

- Fashion

- Accessories.

- Makeup

- Books she's carrying

- Any clues to her hobbies or likes. Such as organizations she is apart of, games or movies she might have a logo for, or sports she is interesting in.

- Context. Is she going anywhere interesting? Is she doing anything notable?

Compliment her to make her feel good or gas her up. Just saying she is hot is vague. Also women can be weird and take compliments the wrong way if they are not super specific.

There’s ways of approaching people and asking for their phone number right off the bat is not one of them. Maybe try starting a conversation before (asking for directions for example) and read the situation from there. This being said, it’s nice that you felt brave and are trying.
