I think it's fair to say that a true 'bad boy' seems to do well with girls.

Here where I live there's almost an endemic of young female prison guards having sex with the inmates! It's like a daily event. (and that's just the ones that make the news!)

It's not always inmates that are in there for 'cool crimes' (for example there was a pedofile serving a long sentence who was having an affair with a very attractive 20 year old prison guard that made the news recently) - BUT often, it seems it's inmates who are in there for violence (GBH) and fairly big time drug dealers.

I was living with a friend briefly about a year ago and he lived in a fairly rough area. I was in his lounge and as a guy walked past holding hands with some stunning young girl, my friend called out to his girlfriend 'Kerry!! Here he is again! He's got a new one!' (meaning new girl!). She looks like a model!! Insanely pretty. He really wasn't much to look at but apparently he was a local thief/thug and ALWAYS had a new gorgeous girlfriend every week lol.

I was watching a documentary actually yesterday, and it was about some thug who threw his teenage girlfriend out of a moving van leaving her brain damaged, but what struck me was how gorgeous she was. I was thinking 'but how did he get her in the first place!!!?'.

The documentary showed all of the messages he was sending her as you'd expect from a 'bad boy' ('you ugly skank!', 'you don't have any friends', 'you're worthless!' etc, and she kept coming home to him). BUT all of these messages were once they were in a relationship. Like, I can't imagine he cold approached her and was lke 'you ugly bitch! you probably have no friends!' lol.

I don't think that would ever 'work' on a cold approach. I say that also because I remember when mysterymethod was all the rage, and I remember seeing guys trying to 'neg' girls right off the open, and all that I ever saw was girls being like 'who the fuck are you, you ugly prick?!! go away' type reactions.

Is that because 'bad boy' only works once you're in a relationship? Or is it because the girls could smell that them guys weren't actually 'bad'? Maybe bad boys actually act super 'nice' if they were to cold approach someone and only reveal their true nature as time goes by and they can't pretend to be nice anymore?

I feel like reddit is the wrong place to ask this as I don't think there's any true 'bad boys' even on here, tbh! I can't imagine the few psycho's that I know spending a second on reddit lol.

I don't even think that cold approach is the way they tend to meet girls. the documentary didn't go into how the aforementioned couple actually met, but I'd imagine it was just through friends and maybe she just thought he was nice looking or something. Maybe heard a little about his background and they just got together.

I'm interested in the cold approach element and how it might look for these guys, but all of my examples seem to be a form of social circle. I'd love to be invisible for a day and see what it looks like when these violent bad boys actually cold approach a hot girl (assuming they even do!! Maybe they never do it)
