You may want to try reframing how you look at conversations and your verbal game.

Your belief is: "my verbal game sucks".

When you're having a conversation, that belief will have consequences. It will probably cause you to carefully evaluate everything you say to judge if it's "good or bad verbal game" before you say it out loud. You may get in your head because you're busy self-censoring and trying to come across in an attractive way with your words.

If you shift focus from trying to have "good verbal game" to instead focusing on having fun while not caring if what you say is attractive - then it should in most cases increase your word flow and get you out of your head.

Have the courage to be disliked. The more you say, the more "bad game" and "good game" will come out. But least you're not as stuck inside your head and you will probably end up talking more.

To say it simply; you're caring too much about being liked. Stop giving so much of a fuck and instead focus on having fun. Show her who you are. She will either like you or hate you. But at least she will know who you are rather than a carefully currated, limited, hesitant version of who you are.

Daring to say "bad verbal game" for the sake of talking may worsen your chances with women in the short run. But you'll get better at talking off the cuff like this over time - the more practice you get. And talking more equals more practice. So it's a better investment for the long run.

When you can make anything sound intriguing, entertaining, exciting, punchy, humerous, etc. through your delivery, there are endless options. With endless options, you can be absurd, wacky, dark, etc. you can have personality and tread on unmarked terrain since you know you can deliver on it.

If the only value you can provide is logic or wit, it's a high bar that you can't possibly live up to - unless you walk around with a script.

The good news is that you only have to be good at talking for a few minutes, sometimes only a minute, because the other person will start asking you questions and in this case everything becomes easier.

The whole seduction arsenal: routines, scripts, DHV stories, push-pull, qualification and so on... everything is there to make an interesting conversation. It is not about being silent and letting the other person talk or being natural and all sorts of BS, there is no shortcut, you just need to memorize a few lines on how to keep talking and what to say when there is a moment of silence.

If you go out with a friend of yours, you will see what they say and what they do then you can copy what them, otherwise take your time and look for routines/scripts/gambits... in the beginning, you will need such things, later after you gain experience you won't need them. You become better with experience.

The reason you get stuck in your head is because you think what you would say isn’t good enough, or that you will be judged, or you might have to deal with social pressure of some sort, etc…

It’s not that you don’t know what to say. It’s that you learned somewhere in your life that not saying anything is a good strategy.

You have to get into social situations, take risks by saying what’s on your mind, and get positive reference experiences from it. The more things go well, the more confident you will become. But you have to practice and take social risks.
