Hey guys! Long time lurker here, I just wanted to share something on which I stumbled upon.

I attended a technical seminar/ weekend retreat kind of a thing last month. Met a girl there, she was slightly into me, we talked a lot, exchanged numbers and got along really well. So next day when it was time to leave, she meets me near the parking lot and says something along the lines of " It was great talking to you! hope to see you again sometime" and extends her hand for a handshake.

I give her a cocky grin and say " You get a hug or nothing" she laughs and proceeds to give me a warm hug.

I am from India and hugging in public is a more intimate gesture here compared to US.

So,Next time when a girl wants to shake hands with you, you may want to use this or other variations like " Kiss or nothing" " Peck or nothing".

I love this community, I learnt a lot from this sub and completely transformed my social life. I will always be grateful for that.
