So as the title says, I’m having a hard time getting over the mental block of attempting to pursue something short-term with girls that fall under the category of being innocent or shy. I’m a university student studying in an Asian county and the culture here is a lot more traditional, meaning most girls look for relationships that are long-term. It feels wrong to try seduce these type of girls as opposed to ones that are openly sexual/promiscuous as I feel as though even if I succeeded, I’d just be taking advantage of them/manipulating them to get what I want at the risk of hurting them emotionally. I’d really appreciate opinions/advice from others in this sub, especially if they’ve had similar thoughts before. I recently got out of a long-term relationship and so I’m not really trying to get back into another one any time soon.

Edit: Thank you for your replies, a lot of you had good advice and the general consensus was to be open and upfront early on about my intentions. This seems like the best way to go about it as it will weed out those looking for something more serious while also remaining honest and non manipulative.
