I play video games a lot, I've played table top games a lot, i play airsoft regularly, i have a collection of sci fi novels and legos. Do i straight up tell a girl these things obviously not. But if she asks i don't hesitate to answer that I'm a huge nerd. Just avoid being a neckbeard and your golden.

Own every single thing about you good or bad, no matter what it is. If she can't accept you, then your better off without her. Never compromise who you are for any women, no matter how attractive she is. Women can sense when your ashamed of your identity and will be turned off instantly. Be proud that your into nerdy stuff.

I agree with the others your own it. I still have a gameboy sd with Pokemon yellow/silver. I have yugioh cards somewhere and I own Xbox.

Keep tasteful nerdy stuff. Be yourself but a lot of nerdy stuff is tacky. Have posters? Frame them. Make sure they are generally artistically and aesthetically pleasing and they match the room. Hiding a part of yourself is always going to set yourself up for failure. But a bunch of naked anime girls are going to be a bit tacky and abrasive to lady guests. Check /r/malelivingspace for more specific advice.

First, always be confident. Acting defensive or embarrassed, or hiding things not only makes you look weak, but it also makes you seem suspicious.

Second, though... Is it important to you? And is it balanced by not-so-nerdy things? Women will find your one weird hobby endearing when it is indeed one weird hobby... but they're going to be pretty turned off if they come into your place and see shelves full of fantasy figurines, posters of star wars, stacks of D&D books, and a mess of video game consoles and cables.

By all means, enjoy some nerdy things if that makes you happy... but balance it with being active, athletic, a good cook, etc. Have some proof that you're normal and attractive.

You'll find that people will admire your passion for the things you love regardless of whether or not they are into it. Talk about it. Be enthusiastic. Then ask her what nerdy things she loves. She will listen and she will talk.

Everyones telling you to own it, but you already answered your own question by saying "I really enjoy it" I've had a few boyfriends and the two I loved the most and always think about were complete dorks. The first loved computers so much I sometimes would recite error messages to make him laugh and test to see if he'll get turned on. He also liked Indiana Jones, board games, he was an avid PC gamer etc. The next had a bug fetish and his one hobby was identifying bugs or weird animals he'd find. He studied biology and loved all things science. The thing they had in common was passion for what they did and loved to talk about it and explain when I asked. I was also always invited to be included and I felt so special. Sidenote: I am terrified of bugs so that second one was a godsend. What I'm getting at is share, test the waters and try to include the girl if she responds well. Definitely talk about why you enjoy it and not necessarily the details. If she doesnt like it, then dont act like you dont give a shit just show that it doesnt bother you and you will still do your thing. That is super sexy.

It's incredibly unattractive to me when I meet a guy who is into nerdy shit but is legitimately embarrassed about it/tries to hide it. It just screams a lack of confidence - and if he judges that about himself, he's definitely going to judge me for being nerdy too. Honestly? Own up to it, act like you don't give a shit. Nerdy chicks can seriously get down too (if anything, they can be wonderfully imaginative. You think we're reading good clean fanfic online? hell naw).

Just don't act like it's the best shit ever and you don't have a social life and it's all you do. Then you'll be fine.
