I feel the same about gym clips. Most of my friends don’t workout and associate it with douche-culture, but I’ll post something I’m proud of every now and then… like once every few months. Usually a personal best or reshare a story my trainer or friend tags me in. We keep getting told here that confidence is key, then when we have to confidence to share an achievement, reddit shoots us down!

Just remember: most people who don't go to the gym don't understand gym culture and pride.

I can hit a PR and be really proud of myself but most non-gym people I would mention this too don't give a shit. However, if I were to say it to a gym goer then they would automatically appreciate the hard work that went in to achieving it.

As a girl, I personally find gym videos from ANYONE (regardless of gender) super cringe and douchey. It's one of those things though that is a personal preference, some people would love it and others won't.

I workout 5 days a week, mostly calistenics, don't want to buff out, it asks too much protein and food which, in the long run can be bad for you, rarely post pictures anywhere cause, don't really give a shite about likes,prefer the priceless look on old friends when they barely recognize you after a year of training.
