“Cinema dates” after you vibe? Lol, that’s the lowest effort. Also, that’s ok in high school not as adults when you’re trying to get to know someone. Otherwise it’s really faux quality time. The guy does not have to use energy to get to know you but checks off another date that’ll potentially get him closer to sleeping with you.

Outside of medical/science research papers I hate when us women are referred to as females. It’s fucking demeaning and strips the humanity. What’s worse is when men are referred to as men while using female. The ones who don’t see the level of disrespect this brings are ridiculous.
Words matter people!!! Literally, our whole society is built on words.

Ladies what are some other date ideas that would reflect genuine effort on his part? I don't particularly like dinner dates.
Edited to add that I'm specifically interested in other ideas for dates that don't involve sitting down to eat with someone.

Mostly for diet reasons. I don't typically eat a meal for dinner, that's how I grew up. I'll occasionally make an exception (celebrations, outing with friends), but I don't really want to grant such exceptions for dates.

Don’t spend two hours getting ready! Match their effort. Even if it’s a dinner date - if they don’t like you for who you are, they’re not worth it.
I value myself and like coming across as high maintenance, I’m not downgrading my beauty just so I can have some drinks and appease a random guy 😂😂😂

that's literally what i'm saying, bruh. a lot of LVM try to claim that they prefer drink dates to dinner dates because "dinner dates are so expensive when i don't even know if i'll get a second date" but 3 cocktails ends up being just as expensive as dinner and one cocktail because it's not about the expense - it's about the "return" on their investment (e.g. you're more likely to sleep with him after 3 cocktails so it's more worth it).

Then why would you get a guy like that time? If anything women should date up at least a little bit so a man can afford to take them out. It’s called hypergamy. Drinks shows his income level is low and that doesn’t know how to treat a woman. If he comes from a “bad” background it’s not our fault. Online dating has made low effort acceptable.

Even before I started seriously applying FDS principles, I have had college guys pick up odd jobs just so they could pay for dinner dates.
I’m so sick of these “what if” scenarios. I’m sure there are some good men who aren’t making enough money to pay for dinner now (maybe a broke PhD student?). But I’m not scraping the bottom of the barrel to find them.
This is like telling a bank hiring firm that “some felons make great bank tellers. What if you missed the one because of your hiring policies?” Uhh, well, there is a giant pool of better candidates? Rules are rules for a reason: because they approximate truth, they are functionally true. I do not live my life assuming I will be struck by lightning or win the lottery. Drinks dates are like lottery tickets: we read about the winners, but the expected value is always negative for us.
