My dog knew. Whenever we sat on the couch my dog would get up and sit between me and my ex. My dog, a breed known for bad gas, would always sit with his butt to my ex and didn’t hold back from letting me know. I should have seen the signs. 😂

I read in the amazing book called The gift of fear, that dogs feel your feelings towards other people and if it feels you are nervous, it is too - it can sense the emotions of its owner.

I'm 100% certain my last dog was a canine pickme... even though I loved her to bits and took care of her for 13 years she always preferred men. Any men. It didn't even matter if they just walked by us on the street - she'd still be trying to follow them home! 😂

My cat has excellent taste in men, tbh. Never liked my ex much, despite living with him. Loved my dad immediately.

Cats too. One of my cats who is super mellow slightly fat, extroverted, playfull and loves all people, literally attacked my ex. He did a sneaky ninja attack on his head when the guy was on the sofa watching a film. I had to separate them.

I was already considering breaking up with him... And then I looked at my cat and thought "oohhh, you too, heh? We might have to dump this guy".

Could have sworn my cat gave me the thumbs up on that.

Not totally sure about that. I know sooooo many LVM/NVM who adore dogs and buce versa, and might even be good with them (because unlike a human woman, dogs will worship you just for feeding them, which can attract narcissists).

I would rather trust my cat because they get so much more hate and are picky about who they like. If a guy makes my cat nervous, there's probably a good reason for it.

My dog HATED my ex “friend” (who was fucking every dude on my scrotation behind my back!) And I had no clue why! My dogs are sweethearts , and one nearly bit her hand. She even worked with animals! Right then I should have known. These animals KNOW.

It is always good to watch the signs and it is true that sometimes animals can sense when somethings off, especially with men But don't let your pet make the decision for you. Try to be a sharp human being instead
