I’m married for over 10 years and I lived in a different state for 18 months for work (15 hour drive each way and my hvm made the drive every other weekend to see me, ladies that’s high effort). During those 18 months I had no friends but some of my nicest times were having a glass of wine and a nice dinner by myself. It’s really a self care that more women need, IMO.

I think you forgot to mention the mastiffs as well judging by your username. 😉 Joking aside, I absolutely agree. There's a power in knowing that you aren't at the whim of other people's interests/availability if you're keen to do something. You can go by yourself and know you'll be 100% happy with the activity.

That’s very true, and while I can’t necessarily treat myself to filet mignon dinners out on the regular, I certainly to make simplicity, self-care, professional success, and organization a way of life. 🍷🍷

It's nice to have some alone time outside of the house. I did the same thing a long time ago. Like you I had a really good day at work and I wanted to treat myself. At the time I was living with my ex. I had asked him to meet me at the Applebees down the street from us, but he declined. I was craving Applebees so I decided to go by myself. I walked in with the intention of ordering to go. However, something came over me and I said f*** it I'll just dine in. It was best time I had in a restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. It was slow and the staff sat and talked with me instead of talking amongst themselves. I even got a free dessert! I never thought I would have a good time eating out alone, but that night made realize it's nice getting out even if I have to do it alone. So cheers! I hope the rest of your night goes well! 😊
