Female Italian pornstar suggests that the solution to the #MeToo problem is for women to "give it away way more". As long as sex is a scarce resource it will always be treated as a commodity to exchange for power.

Nope, it'll still happen. It's not about giving it away more, it's about power and getting what you can't have. This suggests all women, regardless of relationship or not, should be at every man's beck and call constantly, which is completely ridiculous.

If you care about men's rights, you should also care about women's rights. This would be like saying women only "gold dig" because it's so rare, so we should just order all men to give money to all women more often and problems solved. All men should pay for all kids. etc. Stupid.

Dunno, Valentina Nappi seems like a pretty smart woman. She's probably at least partially right.

In the wider picture I think she's saying that the #MeToo movement is in part a regression to bigoted and sex negative ideas, and that will create problems for men and women alike.

[–]Scrambles_18 -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I agree that she is at least partially right. The answer to the problem is absolutely not making one change. And this particular change would be one with very little actual impact.

I don't speak for anyone but myself, but I've spent most of my life rarely getting any, and when I was with a girl who wanted it frequently, it ended up becoming a chore that I had to do, rather than something I wanted to.

[–]staticsnake 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's just a sexual incompatibility. Both of you had a right to what you wanted and it was just a mismatch.

[–]andejoh -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Except when he didn't want it, shouldn't it been categorized as harassment and not an incompatibility?

[–]staticsnake 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

when I was with a girl who wanted it frequently

This is the entirety of the story that we have and you jump to harassment?

[+]Demolition_Menz -40 points-39 points-38 points 8 years ago* (20 children) | Copy Link

which is completely ridiculous.

Have you ever heard of bonobos? They solve most of their problems with sex. As in: problem? Let's have sex. By the time the male chimp is done, he forgets that there was a problem in the first place. We share about 99 percent of our DNA with bonobos.

Her statement certainly seems ridiculous, and to a certain extent it is, but the reality is that we would have world peace overnight if women acted as she suggests. Men wouldn't need to embrace "toxic masculinity" and endlessly fight and compete to score poon. There would be no more discrimination based on superficial characteristics like wealth. It's not politically correct to say, but she is technically correct. It reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lionel Hutz imagines a world without lawyers and everyone is holding hands with a big rainbow in the background. (He shudders). There's also a brilliant Shohei Imamura film called The Ballad of Narayama where a woman's father demands she have sex with every man in the village in order to stabilize their society.

I'm not saying for a second that women should be forced to do as this porn actress suggests. And in fact, the likelihood of it happening is approximately zero. But it's a fun mental experiment: pretty much everything that feminists complain about would disappear overnight if women took the initiative and just fucked everyone.

Edit: holy shit, my most downvoted post: this is what happens when you ask that women contribute to world peace. LMAO.

[–]staticsnake 55 points56 points57 points 8 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

but the reality is that we would have world peace overnight if women acted as she suggests.

Right. If women would just submit themselves to any and all men whenever they please all world violence issues would end. Stupid.

[+]Demolition_Menz -24 points-23 points-22 points 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Hey, I didn't suggest women should be forced to do as the author suggests. Just that that whole "toxic masculinity" thing would disappear if they did so.

You're reacting to the suggestion emotionally. Try thinking about it rationally.

If the precondition for sex was that a man be really good at walking on his hands, all men would be walking around on their hands. Maybe only a few men would be walking around on their feet.

That is power. So like it or not, females have absolutely enormous power. And yes, technically, females could create world peace overnight if they deigned to fuck "losers."

That is never going to happen, because we have more chimp DNA than Bonobo DNA, but it's a fun thought experiment.

Apparently you missed the part where I said that under no circumstances should women be forced to do X, Y and Z.

[–]Hank2296 41 points42 points43 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Still saying that if women just decided to fuck any and every man that that would solve the worlds problems is some pretty fucked up incels shit.

Bonobos also live in a matriarchal structure where males have the lowest social standing.

There's no such thing as the male 'being done'. Sex in Bonobo society is not about the male's satisfaction, and aggressive encounters between males and females are rare anyway. Sex isn't for resolving conflicts as much as it is for bonding between friends.

[–]Demolition_Menz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well here's to the future male Bonobo who overthrows that oppressive Matriarchal structure.

[–]Demolition_Menz -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Hmmmm. Sounds like you're trying to justify an oppressive matriarchy.

Sex isn't for resolving conflicts as much as it is for bonding between friends.

What's the difference? I think you're full of shit. Lemme guess: you're a feminist and hate men? I will kick your ass with references without even trying.

[–]MsRhuby 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hey, I'm just pointing out some things about bonobos that you didn't bother looking up. You clearly won't 'kick my ass' if you know nothing about the subject you're trying to comment on.

I don't think bonobo females care what you think about their sexual behaviour anyway. Just be glad you're not a bonobo male.

[–]putamanoutofaplane 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why do (certain) men get sexually harassed by women then? She doesn't understand the problem so the solution is bound to be false.

[–]the_unseen_one 12 points13 points14 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So let me get this straight; a woman who uses sex as a commodity to work as a prostitute, thinks that we should make sex no longer a commodity? Tell me, is she out there enthusiastically fucking and sucking undesirable men to do her part? No, she isn't because that'd make her whole career pointless.

And women do have sex. They have it a lot. They just aren't having it with undesirable (i.e. most) men because they don't have to. Sex is only scarce for the majority of men that aren't desirable enough, while the desirable ones have it in abundance. The only way those undesirable men can have sex is by offering a short term transfer of resources (prostitution, whether it's money or a position that is exchanged), or long term transfer through marriage (in which a long term guarantee to sex is promised, even if not delivered, in exchange for long term access to resources like money). Why would women have sex with men they aren't attracted to just to protect other women they don't know? Nobody is that altruistic, as we can see by this lady not putting her money where her mouth is.

Even if this works, which it would, it wouldn't happen in a thousand years. Sex is far too valuable a resource for women to use against undesirable men in exchange for their resources.

[–]v574v 14 points15 points16 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's not about sex in exchange for power so much as specific males having experienced this exchange so often that they apply it universally.

"And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

The above mentality didn't develop without women who "give it away more".

[–]andejoh 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The above mentality didn't develop without women who "give it away more".

I disagree. These women didn't "give it away more". They gave it to a specific man in expectation of a "specific" result.

[–]IridiumIodide3 24 points25 points26 points 8 years ago (98 children) | Copy Link

I completely agree with this but for women to do this, they need to stop being slut shamed and viewed as less than for having multiple sex partners. Unfortunately, ppl treat you differently when your number is high and lots of people still associate commitment with a lower body count.

[–]fengpi 18 points19 points20 points 8 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

they need to stop being slut shamed and viewed as less than for having multiple sex partners.

Chiefly by other women, who have an interest in keeping sex scarce, with men playing a comparatively minor and ineffective role in the dynamic.

[–]IridiumIodide3 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This link doesn't work on my phone, but I'm interested in reading it. Especially since it has been my experience with men and what they have said that has led me to this conclusion, even tho admittedly it is anecdotal.

To be clear, men don't have to explicitly slut shame someone, they just have to treat you differently and view you as less stable because of your body count (just look at the other commentator that responded to me)

[–]fengpi 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Especially since it has been my experience with men and what they have said that has led me to this conclusion, even tho admittedly it is anecdotal.

It's probably more memorable when a man does it. Additionally, the linked study had an interesting side note: fictional portrayals of slut-shaming tend to depict men doing it way more often then they actually do. Men are natural blame-magnets.

A larger share of women favor outlawing prostitution than men do; in cultures where female genital mutilation takes place, it is almost entirely done by older women on younger women (often against the objections of men), etc. There is a definite pattern.

[+]omegaphallic -7 points-6 points-5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Also I think the social conservative elements among men give men a bad name on this, they have ruined MGTOW as a concept, I won't let them ruin the MRM.

Which is why "slut shaming" is much more of an important issue to liberal women. They would rather extract male resources through the state, and through subsidies so that they can feel "empowered" LOL.

Conservative women seem to prefer to the old way of extracting resources mainly from one man. But at least they attempt to make up for it with some traditional female services, but which today unfortunately are no longer needed once children are over age 5.

I have yet to meet a single woman in person who is neither of these.

Hello, I'm a woman in high school. I'm hoping to be a lawyer in the future, and marry a man that I love. Hopefully, he'll be the dad, staying at home, but if he doesn't want to, it's okay. Ideally, I'll be the breadwinner, because for me, that is ideal. When I was a feminist, I thought that it was about being independent and working for a living, but it isn't. Feminism is about being a mooch, and I don't want to be a mooch.

[–]ThatDamnedRedneck 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I did the housedad thing for a year after the birth of my first child. Best year of my life.

[–]BernieSandersgirl101 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Cool. I want to be a lawyer though. How was being a housedad?!

Being a housewife however, is not a dream of mine. I want to change the world. But being a housewife means helping your child, and that's noble too.

[–]ThatDamnedRedneck 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It was by far the most exhausting thing I've ever done. Kid won't sleep more then a couple hours at a stretch for the first while and will want to be fed every few hours. It took us a year to get her consistently sleeping through the night. Diaper explosions are things of nightmare. Crying is the only method of communication for a very long time, so you'll get PTSD from it.

That being said, the bond I have with my daughter now is incredible. It was totally worth it.

[–]BernieSandersgirl101 -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Cool. It's awesome.

[–]harleypig 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]xNOM 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

A lawyer who doesn't want to be a mooch... ok not going there.

But I'm sure that you're for making women pay higher health insurance premiums than men, since men use healthcare less and actually have more health problems due to the stress of non-snowflake jobs and thus also have a higher adult mortality rate. And I'm sure you support a higher social security tax rate and income tax rate for women to pay for their higher use of services and lower contributions due to their inability to take the need to make money seriously and due to the resultant adult mortality gap. And I'm sure you support making women register for the draft.

[–]BernieSandersgirl101 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

  1. Hardy har har. Yeah, I get the Lawyer jokes. But, I'm hoping to be A Prosecutor, not a defense attorney, If that helps. Long sentences for female rapists and pedophiles, here we (hopefully) come. Plea bargains kept, for I'm no Joseph DiGenova (he was a prosecutor in the Pollard affair. Jonathan Pollard was promised 10 years or less, and got life instead).

  2. Of course, duh. Women should pay higher insurance, especially since men are treated like shit when it comes to health and the draft, YEAH, we should register. Planning to register for the draft when I'm 18 for EQUALITY'S SAKE.

It's not imaginary that pair bonding becomes harder the more people have casual relationships. Sorry.

[–]Korvar 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Then why do we slut-shame women and not men?

[–]duhhhh 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why do you get the idea people don't try to shame PUAs, players, man-whores, fuckbois, RedPillers, man-sluts, etc?

[–]Korvar -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The key word being "try to".

[–]duhhhh 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Huh? Does that mean from your viewpoint women are successfully shamed and men are not?

[–]the_unseen_one -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Because that doesn't hold true for men. Additionally, because when men bed a woman, it's an achievement. All a woman has to do to fuck is wait and say yes when approached. This is am easy question to answer if you thought for five seconds instead of getting mad over slut shaming.

[–]duhhhh 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Related: Ever noticed "sex positive" women often shame inexperienced men?

[–]the_unseen_one 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have, and it's just one of the many hypocrisies of feminism and sexual liberation. That actually ties directly into what I said; for men, getting sex is an accomplishment because you gotta work for it. Men are success objects, and being a male virgin past a certain age means you're unsuccessful and therefore a loser. Which means you can be openly ridiculed and shamed for it.

People can down vote me all they want, but it won't change things.

[–]Bestoftherest222 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (66 children) | Copy Link

ppl treat you differently when your number is high and lots of people still associate commitment with a lower body count.

That is because those women are worth less with a high body count. More STDs, more mental issues, less likely to pair bond, etc etc. The #metoo problem won't be solved by having more sex, since its not sex thats the issue. The issue is false reporting and women turning all interactions a man has into a media shit storm to get a settlement.

Simply having way more sex will just increase the claims, after all most of these #metoo claims had no sex involved! Imagine how much worse it would be with actually including sex this mess would be. #Metoo is a sign of the times, where women are whoring it up to get ahead of the rat race and than turn around and claim they are innocent girls in the path of a massive patriarchal boner that won't take no for an answer.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (40 children) | Copy Link

To all the people downvoting this comment:

This is actually backed up by statistics from highly regarded institutions, look up the correlation between partner count and divorce rate (I'm on my phone right now or I'd do it). It's wayyyyyy higher when you breach 20 partners (in the 80% range), but it is higher after even 2 partners. Also STDs are obviously a problem, I'm not sure how you could refute that.

Promiscuous sex will be identified as a problem in the future, I guarantee it.

It's unfortunate that people are knee-jerk reacting to just calling you a sexist when you make actual legitimate and verifiable arguments.

Women who have a higher partner count are worth less to any potential partner, they're statistically far less likely to be loyal. This is backed up by a good amount of evidence.

A much more reasonable solution to me than "just be a bunch of sluts" would be legalized prostitution.

[–]Bestoftherest222 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Ironically enough it seems people missed the MOST IMPORTANT point I was trying to make. That being more sex isn't the issue, the issue is women eagerly using the legal system and social media to leverage false claims to gain settlements. More sex will result in more lawsuits, since its women who are complaining that "You look nice today" is sexist and requires a payout. Imagine what sex between the two people would result in?

I can tell you, it will result in a rape claim and it will be supported by the other whores that fucked that dude. More sex won't help this mess it will only add fuel to the fire. Since feminists are constantly moving the goal post on what is or isn't rape/sexual harassment etc.

For instance

One of these #metoo claims is about a female who eagerly sucked off Wiensteins cock to get a big movie role and now that she is a dried up husk of a women she wants to file a complaint. This complaint is based off the "Power dynamic" because she felt compelled to lap up his seed to get a role, granted she was all to eager to do it but it was the "POWER DYNAMIC" that made her do it so enthusiastically. Wienstein got tons of sex from tons of A list women, look at him now. See where more sex got him decades later.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah no I completely agree, it's just another reason why this is a terrible idea. I think legalized prostitution is still potentially the best solution, but even that has problems. As a society I do genuinely think we need to return to keeping hypergamy in check, because our birthrate is already nose diving due to unchecked female promiscuity. Whether that's from coming back with laws against infidelity or just societal shaming, it needs to happen.

I'm glad people turned around and started upvoting the comment, it's fucking annoying when people willingly disregard factual statistical information in favor of their feelings.

[–]Vandechoz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Promiscuous sex will be identified as a problem in the future, I guarantee it.

What, because it increases the divorce rate? This problem is already being solved: the marriage rate is dropping.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah that joke would be funnier if this latest generation wasn't so rife with mental illness because of single parenting. It's a pandemic and nobody wants to acknowledge how harmful it is because it would be "sexist" to say women. Cannot. Fucking. Parent. Alone.

[–]Vandechoz 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Birth rate is also dropping, especially for unmarried teens.

[–]omegaphallic -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

I support the legalization of prostitution and that is the only sensible thing you've said.

As for partner loyalty monogamy isn't for everyone and society should stop pressuring people into thinking it is. People with a high body count as you put it should consider open relationships.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

That's fine if they want to do that, but humans absolutely did evolve to be monogamous, as are many other species of mammals. My minor is in evolutionary biology, and this is the most prevalent theory in the field by far. I can go into detail as to why humans are predisposed towards monogamy if you'd like.

Also I'm not sure how you think the risk of STDs doesn't go up with partner count? Or how you can refute legitimate and peer reviewed statistics, that clearly show a direct correlation between marital success and partner count?

You're literally just out of hand denying facts, why should anybody take you seriously?

[–]mwobuddy 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You mean Monogomous like how men 10,000 years ago averaged either 17 women as wives or 0 women?

Women are picky maters. But they are willing to share an 'alpha' rather than each pair off with a beta.

That's also why slut shaming exists; to shame women for sharing a single man.

[–]IridiumIodide3 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your minor is evolutionary biology but then I'm confused about how you can say that there are lots of monogamous animals as even swans and others birds have been proven to not be sexually monogamous and only socially monogamous. New technology that has allowed the tracking of these animals shows that even animals in a socially monogamous relationship that were previously thought to also be sexually manogomaous in fact went around and had sex with other couples. Look up the book "the myth of monogamy", goes very în depth on the biology of monogamy.

Society isn't dependent on sexual monagamy, it's dependent on social monogamy. If sexual monogamy isn't possible, and it has always been something humanity has at least struggled with, then maybe we should in fact consider open relationships as the right course of action.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I should have been more clear on the type of monogamy I meant, every thing you said is absolutely correct. I said it in some other comments. Yeah I do actually think open relationships can potentially be a lot healthier than some people think, it's an interesting topic to think about. Hypergamy really just fucks with everything, though.

[–]ee4m -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link

but humans absolutely did evolve to be monogamous,

Social engineering, not evolution.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Do you have evidence to show it is socially engineered? Because the thing about that argument is it only makes sense if we lack evidence of the contrary, but we don't. There is a lot of evidence that humans evolved to be monogamous, and it is a biological trait.

Do you think any other mammals are "socially engineered" to be monogamous? It's so strange to me that people perceive humans as some enigmatic creature that isn't tied down by biology at all.

We all have genetic predispositions and genetic imperatives, people who haven't studied this stuff seriously underestimate the things that we naturally know, do, or desire. Things that you have zero control over.

[–]mwobuddy -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

dude, youre fucking wrong.

Jordan peterson tells us that we have twice as many female ancestors as male ancestors. So every other guy has 2 children with 2 women and every other guy has 0.

And if you look into historical data, many guys averaged 17 'mates' in the paleo+ era. That means 0 mates for 16 other guys.

You have some bullshit explaining to do to suggest we're naturally monogamous. No, women are naturally hypergamous, which means they're willing to share the top tier of men, and men below that get nothing.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Lol, if you're looking at a time when the male life expectancy rate was like 30 years then yeah it's gonna be a lot different. I clearly said hypergamy makes it an imperfect system. It's a lot more complex than just "monogamy", but humans absolutely fucking are predisposed towards monogamy. If we can do it, we'll highly prefer to have kids with a single woman.

There will always be outliers and exceptions and these cases will continue to multiply as we regress sexually.

[–]mwobuddy 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Admits people don't act that way under prehistoric biological pressures.

Believes that we've evolved to prefer monogamy despite the successful genes being the ones who practiced hypergamy.

ignores the rigid social and religious structures imposed on humans to FORCE monogamy due to a LOT of issues present with poly/hypergamy.

Derp.

[–]ee4m -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Do you have evidence to show it is socially engineered?

The fact that its maintained by shaming, man made laws and man made religious teaching.

Swans don't need that stuff to keep it going.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Lol, that doesn't preclude monogamy. Here's a huge misconception, something people don't understand about monogamy. It does not mean you never seperate from your partner, what it does mean is you only MATE with one partner.

If you look up statistics on men who have kids after a divorce from someone who they've already had kids with, you'll see what I mean. The number is insanely low.

For women it's different, they have a biological imperative to find a provider so if they deem their man unsuitable or he dies, they'll find another. Some women are just flat out broken and can't bond with a man.

Just because it isn't a perfect monogamous system doesn't mean humans aren't heavily predisposed towards monogamy, and just because it's enforced socially doesn't mean it doesn't have heavy biological undertones.

[–]ee4m -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If it was happening naturally, stoning and other lunatic carry on would never have been needed to enforce it and it wouldnt come apart so easily.

[–]omegaphallic -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If humans evovled to be monogamous then things like prostitution, open marriages, and premarital sex wouldn't exist.

A more honest truth is that humans exist in a state of perpuatual conflict between complex short term and complex long term mating strategies that are both inheriant to humanity. The former is used for getting optimal genetics for your offspring and trading for resources, the latter for the raising of offspring, Open marriage is the compromise between the two strategies.

Also technology gives humans access to choices and opportunities we've never had originally, those impact evolution too.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I said we evolved to be predisposed towards monogamy, pretty different. I actually agree with most of what you say, but some things you've got wrong. Like I said in another comment, you don't understand what monogamy actually means. It does not mean not having sex with other people for fun, what monogamy means is mating with only one partner, aka having kids. Men will very very rarely have kids with a second woman, and women will slightly more frequently have kids with a second man.

The rest of the stuff I definitely agree with you on, it's a lot more complex than just saying "humans are monogamous." It's by no means a perfect monogamy, and hypergamy from women throws a massive wrench in the whole system.

But at the end of the day monogamy is absolutely the best situation for kids and for the future of society, and moving towards sexual promiscuity is going to cause our society to decline heavily over time. This is exactly what happened with the Roman empire.

[–]omegaphallic 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Okay, well in practical day to day interactions must people in my experience use the term to refer only having sex with one person. Maybe your definition is more scientific or something, I don't know. Thank you for clarifying.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah I should have clarified earlier. It's the definition used in biological sciences.

[–]omegaphallic 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]the_unseen_one 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

This big shift to lysenkoism from the left has been the biggest thing that has made me more conservative. You value how you feel about reality more than the objective reality itself, which can be summed up disparigingly as "feelz before realz". You dislike how the facts about sluts being far less appealing mates makes you feel, so you pretend it isn't true. You dislike the fact that men prefer women with low partner counts and virgins, so you scream and stamp your feet about that needing to change.

Women are fully allowed to be sluts. That doesn't remove social and biological consequences for being sluts though, and no amount of bitching is going to do so.

[–]omegaphallic 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

There is no feels before reals in my post and I never suggested actions don't have consequences, just the through smart decision making you can midagate most of the consequences.

Serious you fucking projecting dude, the way your calling them sluts and your general attitude is showing your the one who is putting feels above reals, not me.

Fact using condoms reduces you chances of getting an STD. Fact many STDs are curable. Fact there is no scientific evidence of a link between high amount of sexual partners and mental instability.

And you speak on behalf of a minority of men, you do not speak on behalf of our entire gender.

[–]the_unseen_one 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Nobody denies that condoms can reduce the risk of STDs, nor that most are curable (although that's changing as they become more and more antibiotic resistant). But it is true that I don't want one of the incurable ones, and that they're nasty either way. Plus if I'm looking for a long term prospect, I want a woman who is capable of pair bonding and not objectively a bad choice for marriage.

Ok. Like sluts all you want. Just don't pitch a fit when many of us find them disgusting and won't shack up with them. I'll smash and dash a slut no problem, but no hymen means no diamond. It's up to them which they want to be.

[–]omegaphallic 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I'm tell you who have to shack up with, that is your business and you don't have to justify it to me.

Just don't treat people like shit because they have a lot of sexual partners, that's still a person, potentially a wonderful person, and you make the MRM look like judgmental jerks when you do so.

I'll be an absolute gentleman while I plow her from behind and nut on her face the same day I meet her. Just like all the other guys she let's plow her.

Judgment isn't bad, and shaming is a very useful social tool. Slutdom should be judged, and discouraged. Doesn't mean it should be banned, but supporting a descent into hedonism just so people don't feel bad about themselves isn't something I support.

[–]omegaphallic 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

And this your warped idea of reals over feels.

PS your a fucking hypocrite unless your a virgin too.

[–]WotNoKetchup -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Men build up their own self esteem and self confidence by smashing down women's. He is not a slut when he sleeps around, he is a winner & all his bro's pat him on his back applauding his hollow victory. When he says no, its the end of the conversation, when she says no, it's the beginning of a challenge for him to over come.

Men don't see women as people the same as themselves, they see them as prey to hunt down and punch and maul and tear into.

This is why women do not have safe spaces but cages where men have cornered them in and men are really wolves at the door.

Men want victories over women, men want to smash women into the ground and stomp all over them because it's the very thing that boosts men's own self esteem and stature in the eyes in their equally vain cowardly self concerned bro's. ..STATUS MANHOOD.

Men's history is nothing more than the history of a bunch of rapist thugs and scurrilous violent viscous villains. Laws may alter but men never change.

[–]omegaphallic 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'll point out that a woman can lose her hymen a lot of ways that don't involve sex. And it can be surgically restored, hell even without surgery you can buy new ones online, so your "virgin" bride could be passed around more then a joint at a Bob Marley concert. Who knows maybe even by me. Enjoy.

[–]the_unseen_one -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's just a saying. I am well aware they hymen can break from normal activities. Obviously it simply means I'm not marrying unless she's activities virgin. Otherwise, smash and dash.

You just made a great argument against marriage, good job bud.

[–]sakura_drop 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Woman here: personally, I'd be wary of starting a relationship with a promiscuous guy, for some of the reasons you mention. I will say that when it comes to my own relationships, I like them to be monogamous, so if that's not your thing, that's cool and all, but it's something I take into deep consideration.

This is another of the many, many issues in which the female vs male aspect is blown out of proportion, even taking history into consideration. A lot of women are like me, wary of 'players' or whatever the popular term may be these days.

The whole 'slut shaming' thing irks me for some reason, the term itself included. Do people who are willingly promiscuous because they want to be like being referred to as 'sluts' even in their defence?

[–]Rolten 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Wtf dude, what's up with you reasoning about women being worth less? Does this also count for men? It just sounds horribly sexist.

Those women are "worth less" because sexist people perceive them to be so, not because they actually are.

[–]omegaphallic 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I agree with you, someone doesn't lose value or their humanity just because they have fucked a lot of people, I fucking hate the social conservative elements of the MRM they are as bad as the feminists.

You cant tell them apart.

[–]pazz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Feels like it works for all humans regardless of gender. More contact with disease makes you more likely to be sick (less able to create value/more expensive to keep alive/healthy...therefore less valuable.)

It's pure math with no judgement. Would you feel safer kissing someone who has kissed 1 other mouth or 1000 other mouths? If that was the only piece of information you had to go on, most would feel safer kissing the 1. Purely from a contagion stand point.

[–]Rolten 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, that makes sense. But if people have safe sex and get tested every once in a while, then why would we be 'ew, slut'. Have safe sex with them and there's really not too much to worry about.

Chances of someone with more partners having a STD is probably larger, but I think blatantly saying that they have more STDs and are worth less are rather mean-spirited and very unnecessary.

[–]pazz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Right I agree that now we have the technology to both prevent the spread of STDs and to accurately test who has them without need to refer to statistical likelihoods...but if all you know about person A is that they've hooked up with 1000 people and person B doesn't have the reputation, then you'll feel safer with person B. Until we all post our STD results regularly to social media and can check up on each other without directly asking an uncomfortable question...person B gets a slight bump.

[–]Rolten 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True. But let's not say things than them having less value. 'You might want to be a bit more careful with someone who has a lot of one night stands'. Sure, that's fine. 'She's a slut, why would you date her?'. That's a no-no (generally).

[–]mwobuddy -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago* (12 children) | Copy Link

That's exactly why women as suffragettes clamored for a high age of consent to punish males for lowing female sexual value in the 1800-1900s.

Because women's value isn't tied to their vaginas right? /s

We still believe virginity is a thing. Why?

We take attacks on women's sexuality (assault, rape) SO serious that we'll imprison innocent men. When men get raped by women, we laugh. Why? Because women's sexuality has value and men's sexuality doesn't.

How about a man having sex with a 15 year old girl. Let's cut his balls off and hope he gets raped in prison right? At least he'll receive 5-20 years prison.

How about a woman? Comments of "lucky boy" and "this is no crime", and the woman gets 1 year prison, if that, or simply probation.

Because female sexuality isn't considered something of value, right?

No, we punish the man because he lowered the teen girl's value.

Let me remind you that when suffragettes were so angry about the age of consent in the late 1800's, they sought to raise it but not to include males. You could still find yourself a 12-13 year old male and do whatever the fuck you wanted to them.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-teen-rape-double-standard

The disparity in the punishment of these 17-year-olds, both accused of having sex with the 14-year-olds they were dating, goes much deeper. Haasch charged Alan with a Class C felony, which, according to court records obtained by The Daily Beast, carries a maximum prison sentence of 40 years. Norma, on the other hand, was charged only with a misdemeanor, which carries a maximum sentence of nine months in jail.

To put it short, 17 year old male has sex with 14 year old female. He could get 40 years. 17 year old female has sex with 14 year old male. She could only get 9 months max.

https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2018/01/04/fremont-former-high-school-who-had-sex-with-student-may-avoid-jail/

Here's another example. She committed felonies and may serve no time in jail or prison at all. Would the same be said for a man?

When you start thinking with your large brain instead of your small one (where you want to 'white knight' by saying 'lets stop calling women sluts and saying they have less worth, okay guys, geez'), in the hopes that by defending the whaaminz and trying to change mating habits, you'll get access to one as well, you realize that society has been telling us "women have sexual value, and it is diminished by spreading around, men have NO sexual value, and it is increased BY spreading around" for over a century.

The evolutionary reasons for this is obvious if you watch and Jordan Peterson.

[–]Rolten 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I think you're going on a massive tangent here. I'm simply stating that we shouldn't value women less for having more partners. It's not me white knighting (lmao, white knighting on men's rights, that should get me laid), it's just that I think women should enjoy the freedoms that I do.

And yeah, there is a major discrepancy between men and women when it comes to having sex with underage boys or girls. That is wrong. But let's take things one at a time and not all link them to the simple notion that an adult should be able to choose as many partners as they want without "losing value".

When you start thinking with your large brain instead of your small one (where you want to 'white knight' by saying 'lets stop calling women sluts and saying they have less worth, okay guys, geez'), in the hopes that by defending the whaaminz and trying to change mating habits, you'll get access to one as well

This is by the way completely unnecessary and doesn't lead to pleasant discourse.

[–]mwobuddy -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

So why don't you change the ENTIRE society's view of female sexuality then?

Because that's exactly what everyone thinks.

[–]Rolten 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Well, it's what we should do. Let men and women be equal. Not saying it'll be easy.

[–]mwobuddy 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Okay, lets say a woman just got done fuckin 10 guys an hour ago. You want to date her/fuck her?

What if you meet someone and she tells you she's had 500 sex partners? You still good?

[–]Rolten 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Those are, of course, some very extreme figures. I would think those are very, very absurd for a man.

I just think man and woman should be equal. A guy who has had sex with 20 or 30 women in his life? Sure. Ditto for a woman. A guy who had sex with two or three women last month? Sure. Vice versa.

It's not about making fucking 500 people normal for anyone. It's about making fucking X people the same for both men and women.

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You avoided the question. Would you date/fuck them?

[–]IridiumIodide3 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol your mentality about how women are worth less if they have more partners proves my point. Women are only gonna have sex with the "top dogs" because they can only have a minimal number of partners before their value goes down. If their perceived value didn't go down based on their body count, they would have more sex. I really think this would be a win/win.

As for my earlier comment about completely agreeing with the post, I meant about sex being a commodity. I'm tired. I don't actually think the #metoo campaign would be solved by this but I do think that not making sex a commodity is in the best interest of everyone

[–]omegaphallic 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Bullshit, you can get an STD on your first time if your not safe and you can remain clean if your careful and use protection.

As for mental health issues, the amount of sex partners has no bearing on that.

I completely agree with this but for women to do this, they need to stop being slut shamed and viewed as less than for having multiple sex partners. Unfortunately, ppl treat you differently when your number is high and lots of people still associate commitment with a lower body count.

  1. Women slut shame each other more than men, because its a way of knocking their competitors down the female dominance hierarchy.

  2. Slut shaming is about women riding the Cock Carousel only of chads.

Lets rephrase her words: "if women would be willing to fuck any guy, the #metoo problem would go away".

Now, a lot of people would say "WTF you're saying all women should be sluts and fuck every guy". No. Any is not every. It means that women would view all men as decent recipients.

That's because statistically, the lower your partner count, the higher your likelihood of being a good long term mate. Once you top 10 partners, you're damaged goods in terms of a stable, long term relationship. Besides, you say this like some of us want this to happen. I'd rather a return to chastity and commitment than a hedonistic society where everyone fucks everyone all the time so sex is no longer a commodity.

And you say this like the only way its work is if all men had sex with all women. This could easily work if only a tenth of women had sex with all men. Sex is decomoditized, the majority of women are still chaste and suitable for marriage, and everyone is happy. Interestingly, this is more or less how a lot of ancient civilizations operated, where you'd have whores for pleasure, and wives for breeding.

[–]McGauth925 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Long ago, probably in the 70s, I read a Psychology Today article about a comparison between two cultures, in two VERY different climates. One was in Ireland, where the population was declining because people weren't reproducing as fast as people were dying. The other sounded like a South Seas tropical paradise, where the upshot was that sex was EVERYWHERE. Women were giving it away freely, even to men that were were low on the alpha-beta scale. So, the question was, why was there so little sex for the Irish, and so much on this Pacific island? The people conducting the study put forward the hypothesis that THAT WOMEN HAD EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED, SO THEY DIDN'T NEED TO RATION SEX TO GET GOODS AND SERVICES FROM MEN.

As they say, there's no point in getting all worked up about the truth. But, it's very good to know what the truth is. Me, I lean more towards MGTOW, psychologically. I hear women complain about men, and about hard they have everything, and I think, "They need me more than I need them." Yes, sex is very nice, but lifelong servitude is too high a price to pay for it.

[–]alclarkey 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

A bunch of women joined into massive pile-on about how awful men are for sexual harassment, and you can't see how that's related to men's rights?

[–]tvc_15 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago* (23 children) | Copy Link

uh men who sexually harass women are awful and deserve to be piled on. also the article implies that it's women's fault for not "giving it away" instead of men's fault for not being able to control themselves.

[–]alclarkey 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

Except the men who don't sexually harass didn't deserve to be piled on.

Let me offer up an opposing scenario for you: I have been physically assaulted and insulted by black people, do I now have the right to start my own #metoo movement about it? One where all white people have had negative experiences with black people tell their stories? And those stories would include the times a black hobo asked them for change and that would also qualify as "assault". And what are black people who are trying to get along with whites in harmony, what are they supposed to think?

Now maybe you have some idea of how bigoted #me too really is.

not sure how someone saying "i was a victim of sexual harassment in the workplace and it's time to end sexual harassment in the workplace" is an attack on all men, but if you see it that way, maybe you think all men are sexual harassers ¯_(ツ)_/¯

not to mention, many men have come forward with me too stories as well, and deserve to be heard.

[–]alclarkey 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

End sexual harassment? You can't. You can only punish the men/women who do it. You can't end it because you can't change human nature. Just like you can't end murder, theft and assault. You can only foster and environment that doesn't encourage it, and we have.

If you google it you will see lots of article in psychology magazine. Also speaking form personal experience I am happiest when I am getting regular sex. But that might be because I am not interested in the long term relationship.

But keep in mind sex is not a relationship. So I go in only wanting sex not commitment or emotional connection. Hence we both get what we want so no reason to not be happy with getting what we want.

Granted if people sleep with other with the expectation of a relationship or emotional connection they will be let down. You repeat again and again not getting what you want than of course you would be unhappy.

Again people confuse sex and relationship. Sex is like the satisfaction of scratching an itch. It releases hormones that make you happy. You have more sex you get more happy.

Unfortunately, any solution that requires women to do anything or take responsibility for anything is non-starter in this society.

[–]titanhermant 17 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Who will think of the poor men?? Why won't women just have sex with whoever wants to have sex with them??

Or they can make prostitution legal, stop shaming men for using pornography, and invest in the advancement of sexbots. That wouldn't be putting "women first" though.

What world do you live in where men are shamed for watching porn? Like adult men?

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You haven't seen the numerous articles discussing how problematic and dangerous male porn consumption is?

[–]TurtleOnTheRocks 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have, but by that logic men are shamed for playing video games to the point where they don't feel comfortable playing them because there are articles saying they incite violence. While there are individual people and groups who shame men for watching porn it would be downright disingenuous to claim that "men are shamed for watching porn" because that implies that society as a whole is vehemently opposed to it, while the exact opposite is true. A man who does not watch porn would in all likelihood not feel comfortable admitting that to his male peers because of how wholly uncommon it it. Everyone would assume there was something wrong with him that caused him to not watch porn. Women are still being shamed for watching porn (although that is becoming less true every day and is debatably untrue among the younger generations), but men (grown men, not adolescents/teenagers) haven't been ostracized for watching porn in decades and I honestly don't understand how you can believe that we have.

Oh yes the advancement of sexbots, who could forget that critical step for equality.

But men who harass apparently don't have to take responsibility for harassing amirite? They're just taking what they deserve. /s

Whether they take responsibility or not, they're held responsible unlike women who harass or abuse examples Kelly Brooke, Mary J. Blige.

[–]WotNoKetchup 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is men who tell us, they are not responsible when they rape women if the women are drunk, or out alone on the streets or not wearing a sheet to cover their entire bodies because the temptation then is too great for men to resist jumping on them and dragging them to the floor and tearing into them and stomping all over them because men are so dim and weak, are unable to think of them as people because at that point they can only see them as prey, that they have been itching to get at for ever.

The streets are men's territory after all and if women should stray onto them alone, then obviously they are fair game for men to hunt down and punch and maul and tear into.

Victories for men and the hollowest are the favorite of the shallowest of men.

woman who use sex to gain a stranglehold over a relationship are just weak, and pathetic. and by proxy so are the guys that stick with them.

I wouldn't be certain he meant it that way lol

Supply and demand. If women keep the supply low then they create more demand. If there is more demand for what they can provide they get more power. Then they complain about men wanting sex from them.

[–]OnTheSlope 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course they complain, that's the first step in manifesting the power

Sex is their only bargaining chip. That's why it used to be a custom to wait till marriage.

[–]harleypig 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

That's one-dimensional thinking.

It's not just sex, it's intimacy. This is why women don't like "sensitive" men and shame us when we get together (by mocking it as "guy stuff"). Once we realize we can be intimate with each other (and I don't mean sexually) women lose a huge bargaining chip.

[–]spacedogg 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women use sex to get intimacy (and commitment), We use the possibility of induction intimacy and commitment to get sex.

We usually get the nookie first.

This is a very recent development. If you look at male group pictures from the ww2 era, in the usa, you'll see men with their arms on each other's shoulders.

[–]WotNoKetchup 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

During WWII the British, American and Russian armies were all known as the armies of rapists.! and between them they raped millions of women and girls and babies. Collectively when men become armies they abandon the masks they have been hiding behind and show us who they truly are.

Men have a terrible habit of falling over themselves in the rush to rape women and girls in times of war and men's war on women will never end.

[–]momandpopheir 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men's war on women will never end.

Sounds to me like you don't want a solution to the crimes that you are talking about. I was just talking about something else, and you went off on a tangent about the crimes of some people who happen to be men. To reduce these crimes Men and Women need to be allies - and that's a two-way street. If you demonize Men then you are working against a solution. If you think that most or all men commit these crimes, then I hope that you mostly keep to yourself.
