I had a friend, let's call him 'Bob', who had something strikingly similar happen. Girlfriend is bipolar, didn't take her meds, starts having a mental breakdown. So Bob does what any sane guy would do, he tries to leave the situation before it gets worse.

Well she wouldn't let him. Small apartment, only one exit unless he wants to jump through the window. He pulls out his phone and starts recording like a smart guy. Usual bullshit, she slams herself into the walls, punches herself in the face, etc. (keep in mind this is all because he wants to leave her for being a crazy bitch). All the while she's taking time to throw a punch or scratch him any chance she gets, swiping at the phone, the usual bullshit.

He finally gets by, but at this point the neighbors have taken her side (wouldn't watch the video, cause men are the devil) and called the cops.

The cops show up, same story. Poor Bob didn't get the benefit of the doubt because, despite his pleas for someone to watch the fucking recording, and despite being scratched and bruised to shit, miss crazy bitch was a woman so she's automatically right.

It wasn't until Bob was already in the police station that one of the cops checked out the video. So they let him out, she gets off free, and he has to find a new place to live while also getting what's left of his stuff out of his formerly-joint apartment with miss nutcase.

Fun fucking times. I'm starting to think jumping through the window was the right answer.

Society wants it both ways. They want women to be equal in every respect, and they should, but then they treat women like helpless victims in every altercation. Some women are the aggressor but professionally play the scared, helpless victim once police arrive.

It's sad that a man has to have video evidence because women are usually taken only at their word. There are some women out there that have no problem lying in order to get a man in serious legal trouble.

This happened 25 years ago but I have pictures of bite marks from an attack from my daughters mother. The cops didn't care that I had bite marks on me.

After going to court with proof of the abuse she was awarded full custody. I got jail time, fined, 2 years probation, 1 year of anger management, and paid sixteen years of child support and health care.

She's been perpetually on welfare from having four kids by four different fathers... I was the second father so it was too soon to see the warning signs.

The filing was signed by her, Ryan (the guy she attacked), and her lawyers, Aaron Kelly and Daniel Warner, of Kelly Warner Law Firm. The problem? Ryan's signature was forged.
