Reading the posts in this thread has given me hope for humanity. Obviously we all consider men's rights to be a serious and worthy cause, or else we wouldn't be here ... but if people have enough of a sense of humor to make some jokes at their own expense that's a good thing.

An MRA talking in a sober tone about how they have successfully gotten legal recognition of male victims of domestic violence.

Then it cuts to a scene of some guy and his wife/girlfriend laughing and joking around, and then she very gently punches him in the shoulder while laughing (clearly not intended as an attack and shown to be not inflicting pain).

The "victim" then gets all serious, backs away and goes "You hit me, that is domestic violence. I am calling the police."

He does so, the police haul the woman away in cuffs while she protests.

Then it cuts back to the original guy, who looks at the camera and says something like "I am proud to be helping male victims of domestic violence."

It accurately portrays an actual MRA goal, just takes it to a ridiculous and hyperbolic extreme.

An MRA and a Feminist walk into a bar. They both go sit at the counter, the MRA placing his fedora on the counter, while the Feminist lets her bra-less chest hang free. The bartender goes to the pair and says to the Feminist, "What'll ya have, sweetheart?"

The Feminist goes on a tirade about how sexist the bartender is, and starts yelling at the MRA for not stepping up with her and degrading the bartender. Only an MRA can simultaneously argue that fathers are important while advocating that a man should be able to walk away.
