Any woman complaining about men objectifying women just need to look at your typical Justin Bieber concerts and the screaming girls.

Having a list of male artists being met by frenzied female hormones everywhere they go and appear would be too long for anyone to bother, starting with Elvis and Beatle mania.

When a guy does the same kind of thing, it is considered sadly hilarious and borderline insane, as demonstrated by the "Leave Britney alone" guy.

Let that sink in for a second: The normal expression of female desire, a mass phenomenon demonstrated and recorded consistently over decades, is considered insane if it is a man doing so.

Which either means men are repressed, or insanity is the rule for women. Or both.

I was out with my gf and a couple of her friends.

Her friend is dating my friend. This girl is good looking and nice and all that but she's so fucking insecure about other girls that my friend can't talk to other girls without clarifying that he has a gf, and then he has to reassure her that it was harmless.

Lots of girls hit on him and he used to be a bar star but he's really just into his gf.

What pisses me off is that he has to do all this shit just to keep her insecurites at bay. She can't treat him like he can't keep from sticking his dick in other people.

In the blog post, the OP gave an example of the sort of objectification that she is opposed to. It was something like "look at that filthy slut! I bet she would let me squirt on her face". I am in my late 40's and I have never heard any man, regardless of the setting, say anything similar to a comment like that, other than in a movie. Ever. Nothing even close. And if any man had said anything like that, it would have been regarded as very bizarre and distasteful.

I can't believe that somehow I have managed only to associate or be in the presence of that small minority of men that do not act that way. It is much more likely that the feminist community (a small minority of women) has developed a cartoonish, unhealthy, insulting and unrealistic impression of male sexuality and attitudes.
