The terrible irony is that most of the feminists I've met fighting hardest to emasculate men are only really interested in dating men who present as overtly masculine alpha dogs. I may just be editorializing based on coincidental anecdotes, but I have a suspicion that a lot of the psychology behind the "femi-nazi" mindset comes from the existential angst that is brought about by this dichotomy. I could be wrong, but I've met very few bull-dyke lesbians who want to be given preferential treatment to men, but a hell of a lot of lipstick princesses types who almost demand it.

I support men’s rights as strongly as I support women’s rights. Equality is about equality, not about tipping the scales in favor of women to get back at men.

Bam. There it is right there. That's what feminism was SUPPOSED to be about, but it seems a lot of feminists have either forgotten or never cared.

I'm so glad to see that there are other females here! I lurk, but I have learned so much on this subreddit, and really feel that more women should see the instances in which feminism has gone too far. Equality is absolutely about equality.

I'm of the female species too and also agree wholeheartedly with this subreddit. A lot of people laugh and think its not a big issue, "Oh, white people's problems - white man's problems." No, it goes deeper than that. A whole society accepting and making it a norm for females to act a certain behavior and even encourages irrationality, damsel in distress acts and princess syndrome. I thought I was the only that noticed but I'm glad I don't. :)) I love this subreddit, makes me feel less alone.
