I was actually thinking about making a post yesterday about how normalized the destruction of male genitalia has become. Every action/comedy movie has at least one instance of a guy being punched/kicked/stabbed/shot/slapped in the genitals.

But can you think of a single instance of a woman being stabbed in the genitals in an action movie? Or shot or any of the above examples? Of course not. Because women’s reproductive health is beautiful and life-creating and men’s reproductive health is utilitarian, if not just a straight up joke.

Obviously, I need to get my thoughts a little more straightened out before making of post about it, but I think the dichotomy there is interesting and worth looking into.
