Given the number of men who had fought tooth and nail to get their entire family (in many cases even extended family) through processing I'm calling bullshit on Afghanistan supposedly an r strategy society.

Besides, trying to analyze the Afghan refugee situation through the eyes of gender politics is cringe and overly narrow focused, no matter which side is doing it.

You didn’t think this post through every well. Afghanistan doesn’t have a culture where it’s okay for men to abandon their families for other women. They may have other wives but those wives are also apart of his other families.

I’m sick of this sub trying to brainwash women into being with men they don’t find attractive because “the ugly men are the only ones who are going to treat you well”. There are good looking men who will happily fulfill their role as father and husband. Women don’t need to lower their physical standards to find that. There’s not choosing between the attractive bad boy and the boring ugly dude because people are far more nuanced than just those two options.

This is far too pat and deductive. People are more complex than red pill 'logic' ever accounts for. I mean, what is a bad boy? Can you even objectively define that with specific parameters and not vague descriptions that are open to subjective interpretation? I specifically sought out a man who did not want children. A consummate "bad boy" is the non-breeder male, or so the stereotype goes. Aspiring fathers are supposed to be the reliable and stable ones. In reality, and according to many women's experiences, childfree men are more romantic, egalitarian, and dedicated. Studies also show that childfree marriages have lower infidelity rates, 11% to parents' 18%.

Guys walking around with 6 baby mothers get a pass but a lonely guy wants a girlfriend and all hell breaks loose. It would benefit the kids too because it would be easier for the dad to watch his kid but in a hypergamous world theyd gladly share and deal with the repercussions later. This might explain why women aren't dating much. The current welfare system encourages men to operate an 'r' strategy to periodically impregnate lonely women and allow them to run the strategy.

Without the welfare state the guys who have several kids by four mothers would probably be dead.

And of course we have a huge corrections system to ensure that those guys are kept fed and housed so that when a progressive DA releases them they can impregnate a whole new generation of 'r'strategy women to complement the brood he sired before murdering someone.

And despite the fact that single parent life outcomes are disastrous for the kids, it's still considered moral to operate the strategy.

r/K selection, particularly in girls, is significantly based on a matter of how their biology reads their pre-pubescent developmental environment-- it doesn't take into account human-made conceptual constructs like laws, morals, culture, philosophy, technology, etc.

Basically, the theory is if their biological father's pheromones aren't regularly present in their early home-environment, their biology reads that as they're living in an uncivilized environment where "all the men are dying out, and we need to make more... BREED BREED BREED"... their biology shifts towards a "survival" (r) strategy... they reach menarche (their first period, denoting active fertility cycles) a year earlier on average to facilitate producing children sooner to replace the missing males, and are more likely to prioritize physical characteristics in mate selection so they can overcome whatever is "killing" the males their biology thinks aren't surviving, while disregarding better long-term characteristics (like emotional stability, rationality, and general intelligence-- which are more sought by K-selected females) that are better suited to maintaining civilized environments (i.e. stable, safe, productive, technologically advanced, etc.) where physical threats are minimal because they're actively disallowed and punished by the social constructs I listed above.

Essentially, "women's lib" pushing the male figure out of their developmental environment like has been happening for the last 2-3 generations is causing young girls to revert to a "feral" state (themselves becoming more sexually aggressive as well as more emotionally volatile themselves) because their biology is reading the environment to be wildly dangerous and uncivilized, even though it's not.

(FTR, I got all of this from reading about research done on the subject at UC Berkeley-- Basically liberal Mecca when it comes to US education).

That aside, Afghanistan's larger family sizes, birthrates, etc. (sidenote: infant mortality rate is much smaller than most think in Afghanistan) than most of western society is mostly a matter of women not being empowered culturally rather than something like r/K selection. Contrary to popular belief, paternal investment is actually heavily enforced in orthodox Muslim cultures-- female "subjugation" (for lack of a better term), in such cultures is stems from their religious doctrine that the males are given full authority because they're tasked with providing every aspect of a female's life... whether or not that's been twisted in various ways in the current era or not is a separate topic outside the scope of this thread.
