I've started dating this guy who seems good so far, respecting my boundaries etc. Did the video call screening as well, all good. I have good vibes, he seems sane and interested.

It's been 2 dates - third is this weekend - he's always asked me out at the end of each date and has always texted me at the end of each as well. However, once this convo is over, we don't really text/talk much which can go on for a few days. He'd then send a message in between and then again, not much of a communication thereafter until the date.

I am fully aware of love bombing and creating false intimacy with incessant texting - which I don't even particularly like - but it also feels weird to not be talking every day to someone you're dating if they are serious about you, because how do you develop a connection otherwise ? I am also aware it'll only be the 3rd date.

What FDS thinks of the good morning and good night texts as well ? In the past, I haven't liked them in early dating but the ones who did it turned out to actually be HVM and/or really interested (didn't work out because I wasn't interested in healthy and consistent people at the time.. of course..).

I also think that when they are really interested they also call you.

I am so torn between being afraid of love bombing but also not wanting to feel that the guy has to be dragged or something. Also kinda afraid to fall on an unavailable guy because what attracts me is the challenge and the fact that he is not all over me - I have been like this in the past which led me to go out with the worst guys ever so I try to be SUPER AWARE of this old me tendency.

So my question is what are the FDS rules on the matter. I read the handbook but there's not much about it.
