Learned my lesson in community dick in early 2021.

I had gotten out of an abusive LTR at the end of 2020 and was craving intimacy from a sexual partner. Or so I thought.

Got my first (and last) STI from said community dick, found this sub, and drop ghosted the guy. I'm lucky it wasn't a forever STI and was easily treated. I did my due diligence in telling him, but I'm sure he's out there infecting other unsuspecting women.

I’ve been trying to say this to my friend (who said she wanted to level up) because her exes and current bf all have been the community dick. She’s still complaining about how her bf is always busy because he’s taking Becky out to dinner or seeing a movie with Jennifer or going to the gym at 3am with Veronica. My friend hates it but gaslights herself for being “insecure” and pines for the day he will change for her, marry her and they’ll live happily ever after 🤡. I don’t talk to her much anymore and she’s failed many times as a friend for ditching my 21st bday and graduation to be with her bf.

If you don’t want the endless pain and frustration of a community dick, stick to your standards and simply DON’T DATE ONE! Don’t just settle for someone that isn’t meeting that standard. And to be honest, “not being the community dick” is not a very high standard in my opinion… it seems perfectly reasonable to only want to date guys that have had proper relationships because they clearly value relationships over casual flings.

Not to mention that the ONLY reason they “settle down” is because they are too old, ugly and deranged to pull women anymore. They do not love, respect, or even like the women they “settle” on. Yes, they are usually pot bellied and have Ed at this point. They still treat the woman they “settle” on like shit. Most of their cheating moves online or to emotional affairs too. Yeah I always found this amusing, men think they can go around being sluts but when they're older they expect a virgin women, as if those women would be interested in thier unwashed ass.

I don't know why this is controversial to say. Like I find men who have a high body count super disgusting. I value my sexual health a lot and he clearly doesn't, you cannot be sure he actually used protection at all. I also view sex as something intimate between a person I love and he obviously sees it as something as casual as masturbating.
