There's nothing wrong in playing video games but gamer men (men who game all the time) are often LV. Can spend hours or days trying to pass a certain level on a video-game, watching tutorials and build entire online gaming communities but can't bother to make the tiniest effort for their girlfriends.

I feel like so many women I know would find this heartwarming. But all I can think is — wow, that is so much hidden effort to assuage a man’s ego. And I wonder why she’s been doing this. Is it because when he gets stuck, he’s a bad person to be around? Does he get angry? Does she not stop to ponder why she’s so invested in making sure he has a good time doing a hobby he doesn’t share with her? Is it so that he gets to the solution faster and puts down the game long enough to give her some attention and affection ? Just wow.

Eh, I always treat video games as a major red flag. They're cool once in a blue moon, but if the guy or girl plays them daily, I walk and block. Generally, gamers are not mature enough to sustain a romantic relationship.

Oof I saw this and went off on it and the pickmes attacked. Reminds me of when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade they had this educational computer game they'd have all of us play in school. One little boy would get stuck all the time and rather than solving the math to pass the game he would raise his hand and try having the teacher give him the answers.

That's what this reminds me of. She coddles him.

Why do so many women like it when men act like children? I see this on Instagram all the time. Young women fawning over guys who wear kiddie pj onesies, guys who have Minecraft bedsheets, or guys who wanna be held like children by their gf, guys who play video games all day long. Seriously what is up with that? Why do so many young women find that attractive? I find it repulsive.

There are some games I’d rather just watch my fiancé play than play myself (hence why streaming is lucrative). It can be fun and satisfying to contribute this way, enhancing the game’s experience for both parties without spoiling it.

I think what she does it kinda cute, she is not treating him like a todler learning to walk, nor it is his fucking ego, nor it is "a WaStE oF tImE" that he plays videogames or she helps him a bit, you dont even know what do they usually do in their lives.

I understand she doesnt tell him outright, because that ruins the whole point of him playing, imagine you are watching a film and someone just says "X is going to die like this and this is going to happen", doesnt feel good, right? You got spoiled, however, of you are watchign a film and you are thinking what might happen, which doesnt have to actually happen, it is different, right?

If you think this is wasting her time...damn... She could literally enjoy playing with him, or just want him to progress, there is nothing bad in that, and honestly, i dont think the way you think about this topic is right
