Comparable Reddit site for Women in midst of Divorce?

Practically every place in our gynocentric society is pro-woman. This sub should be men only. Nobody else gets the unique challenges and frustrations that men go through in divorce.

Can you imagine posting about false domestic violence allegations in the other sub and the blowback that you’d get. We here know that these things are far too common.

I remember one time I commented about in r/divorce about how my wife made false rape allegations against me and someone commented that I probably did rape my wife, I just forgot about it. I unsubbed and never looked back.

On the other note I found that r/survivinginfidelity is a very gender neutral site and was very helpful. That was a few years ago. I'm not sure if the current climate. I hope it still is, it was a huge help for me.

All of them. Literally all of them are written from a female perspective. Any male suffering is always discarded as weakness and you're usually banned for speaking your mind as a male. Hence why this sub exists.

One of my only regrets was not finding this sub sooner. I spent a lot of time on the regular sub, which many have noted, has a clear bias.

/r/divorce is pro-woman/anti-man. It's why this sub exists.

most subreddits involving the interaction and relationship between men and women (r/divorce, r/OnlineDating, r/relationship_advice, r/datingoverforty etc are very focused on women. That is where many of the women on reddit seem to hang out as well as many "progressive" men.

Proceed with caution in places like r/FemaleDatingStrategy/ r/TwoXChromosomes/ just like men should do the same with r/MensRights/ and r/redpillfatherhood.

All places you go are biased. The only way to truly combat it the best you can is to visit everywhere and critically think your way to your own decision based on your own context and living reality. Which is quite time consuming and taxing.

No matter how unique you think your situation is … it isn't. Search for similar situations in multiple places, try the best to squash your biases, and go from there.

I'm a woman. I read the posts in this sub because I do have an interest in the men's perspective. I don't post out of respect and boundaries.

It's been insightful.

Divorce is a struggle. No matter who you are. I'm glad there's a space here for you to get support from each other. I avoid the default divorce group altogether. It's definitely biased towards women - I don't need to be in an echo chamber either as I'm already a member of a local FB group for divorced women in my community. It has been very helpful in terms of support, referrals & resources.

Between that and reading posts here, I think I've struck a balance on seeing both perspectives ✌
