best intrest of the child ladies and gentle men. daddy is only a vallet and if you hope to be an actual parent to your own children best intrest of the child is to remove you but obviously not your money.

If you believe you are a father, conduct your own DNA test with a reputable lab. Then you are the patient and the results belong to you. If you choose to trust the mother then that is your prerogative.

Shouldn't he know if he is or is not a carrier for some disease that he went in to get tested for?

It won't make much of a difference for this kid but it could impact his decision to have future kids.

There have been cases of in vitro fertilization where the woman got a kid who was not hers due to a screw up with the eggs they implanted (new guy, mislabeled the tube or whatever).

They told her and she sued the shit out of them because it was considered a horrible thing to do to a person.

They didn't let it slide for "family peace".

After birth, the course of action is less clear, she said, but lawyers advise that the child is to be considered the patient, whose needs trump those of the parents. Can anyone think of a single case where "best interests of the child" was used in a way that didn't benefit the mom at the expense of the dad (or the "dad" as in these cases)?

When it comes to the health of the child ALL information should go to both parents, a man doesn't need to sue to force the hospital to release info.

If the child isn't mine, i wanna know and hospitals shouldn't suppress info to keep the cheating secret.
