The libfems are so brainwashed it’s sad. Sugar daddy and only fans culture is so huge for young women it’s disheartening. When I used to have an Instagram and I was having problems with porn in my relationship I asked an only fans girl how she dealt with her boyfriend watching porn. She literally told me he doesn’t watch porn of other people because it’s disrespectful in her relationship...?? Yet she actively produces custom porn for other men... so it’s “liberating” to be the one selling $3 asshole pics but it’s disrespectful and gross to have a man who pays for it? Like none of that adds up.

Never in my life has anything made more sense than the FDS sub for me. We are anti taking advantage of women, sexualizing them, objectifying them, and normalizing that shit. This sub demands we be treated as humans and not sex objects whose only value is our looks and servitude. If we can’t find that then fuck it , we’ll stay single and work on being happy with ourselves and prospering.

All I want is for young women to open their minds and really explore this sub. It could save them from a lifetime of trauma.

When I realized LibFem was leaving behind BIPOC, immigrants, and women from many countries outside the US, I took a much harsher more critical look at my own biases and began voicing new concerns. I was a liberal feminist because that's how I grew up, until my supposed HV father was discovered having a second family. Not only his other daughter was kept secret for everyone, but he didn't gave her the legal protection a last name gives, she never knew my grandmother and we met her when she was 16.

I was a libfem until by this event I realized that catering to men and child like my mother gets you fucking nothing but an irreversible back pain that can lead you to impairment.

My mom gave her 130% , the hell I'm giving 50/50 if it's not reciprocate.

I don't care if men calls me fake feminist for having standard, self love and not being Marie Curie.

Holy shit, thanks for posting this. I picked two younger girls to move in to the place I found four years ago, was endlessly nice to them, gave them food and they both leagued against me and put my living room things in garbage bags when I was away the weekend before Christmas. Basically they’ve been making my life hell and They had also accused me of not being “a real feminist” because one had a guy she was on a date with tried to jump her to have sex with her. I asked her to report it because the guy was a client of the art studio in my building and I already caught another guy staring at me through my window one night. I told their manager that a client of theirs had acted inappropriately with her, for everyone’s protection. So then get accused of not being a real feminist because I want to protect everyone, including her, of sexual assault where we live... Nevermind that I teach women self-defense for free (and gave them a class) and run a group to get women involved in science. Pickmes will be the end of us.

I’ve been reading Ace by Angela Chen and she brings up the damages that sex positive feminism can have. She likens sex positive feminism as an inversion of a theory called “The Charmed Circle” by Gayle Rubin in 1984. The quest for a female sexuality free of male violence is replaced by the quest for a politically incorrect sexuality that transgresses movement standards. In other words the more transgressive an act is the more inherently liberating it is from old norms and old politics and the better it must be. So over time any thing seen as vanilla or monogamous for example is conflated with backward conservative believe. It has just lead to sex and women being commodified

I don't understand how people think all feminists think, or should think, the same way too... It's like women aren't some homogenous group that all have the same thoughts and feelings about issues. There are a lot of different types of feminists. But then that would take people having to see us as individuals rather then a monolithic mass.

I just love it when real feminist tells me what I should want out of life, how I should behave and point out if the way I want to be treated is not what it means to be a real woman.

Can't help but feel like this is reminds me of some huge moment in womens history...something about an end to putting women in their place..gosh, the name is on the tip of my tongue.

Funny story: for many years I said I'm for women's rights, but that I'm not a feminist due to LibFems telling me I can't be one since I'm not promiscuous and don't believe in prostitution due to the human trafficking and rape etc. And of course I do wear makeup and dresses and generally act feminine which is also "bad" and I want to get married to protect my own legal rights which is unfeminist, too! So after all these years of thinking I'm not a feminist, I'm for legal equality, cultural equity, and human rights and women's rights and women being allowed to express their femininity and guard their bodily integrity without shame from the culture... welp, turns out I was actually a RADICAL feminist all along! Oopsie! Thanks to FDS for being one of the ways I discovered the good kind of feminism.

It's hilarious seeing it written out like that. Those are literally the only things that makes us "not feminists" - not overextending financially in a society structured to give men the majority of wealth, not thinking female bodies on sale for the lowest common scrote is a good thing, waiting to have sex, and actually judging men on what they bring to the table rather than some vague possible potential we see in them. This is the least offensive shit. I'm not sure why they care so much anyway, libfems and the men they simp for can live happily ever after. I could not care less. We tell liberal feminists all the time that they aren't "real feminists." And liberal feminists tell us all the time that we aren't real feminists.

There are different groups of feminism, some aspects of which FDS justifiably does not support.

Nobody is able to say that FDSers aren't feminists, but there are definitely aspects of modern feminism that FDS denounces in favor of more traditional gender arrangements - and that's okay, and better for women (according to FDS.)
