Male class-solidarity is so fucking strong. And no matter how hard women try, they'll never be accepted into it. Men will never respect them the same way they respect other men.

I only befriend girls. Ive been friends with the same girls for almost 7 years now and I promise you it is the best thing. They bring me so much happiness. I actually feel safe around them. And even better for me they arent pickmes lol (except like 1). Female friendships are so beautiful and unfortunatley, so insanley undervalued.

My friends who are guys are all one dimensional and boring af. They're only fun to be around when I'm desperate for social contact. Never had a conversation about anything that I'm actually interested about with them, it's like being friends with a companion character in a video game. Completely superficial.

My women friends on the other hand are capable of so much more introspection and commentary. I hate this cool girl BS that tries to put women against each other!

I literally know someone who would say such things when men raped her and she always finds herself in toxic/abusive relationships. It really is a form of self harm and the worst trauma response one can have. I feel so sorry for her and hope she can break free one day.

I get so angry when women say this. My girlfriends have gotten me through every tough hurdle in my life. I have some fantastic friends who are men too, but they usually "can't handle" more emotion-heavy topics. Different friends fill different roles in my life, and it sucks that this girl can't find female friends who enrich her life in any way. Makes me wonder if she has little to offer other women. When women say shit like this it just perpetuates the "catty women" stereotype.

Luckily most of the comments I saw were women saying that women who only have male friends don't realise they just want sex, that this is a sad way of living, "hope you get picked sis" comments. There's hope after all.

Really despise women with this mentality. They live for men and men alone.

Without fail, every single woman I have ever met who has said something to the effect of, "I don't have female friends/women are too much drama for me!" has been an absolute nightmare to get along with. And they do it for nothing, because as other posters have said, their male so-called 'friends' aren't actually their friends. They keep the woman around to fuck and to make fun of when she's out of earshot.

I used to be like that. My female friends have remembered my birthdays (& gotten me gifts/made plans), been passionate about our shared hobbies (we'd even do group workshops together pre Covid!), checked in on me when I wasn't okay, visited me in the hospital when I was there overnight, & much more. My guy friends would invite me over, offer me weed/alcohol, smoke right next to me instead of going outside, & try to fuck/extract nudes from me.

I have 3 genuine male friendships that never overstepped my boundaries, one is someone I've known since elementary school & he has a girlfriend, the other 2 aren't straight. 😅

I used to say this all the time. I used to be so proud of the fact that I wasn’t like other girls and called girls bitchy and hard to get along with.

Until I started dealing with my traumas and then met my best friend who’s so much better than any guy I’ve ever been friends with. It’s such a damaging mindset to live in, and I’m so glad I don’t think like that any more.
