This is why LVM fight so hard to lower women's standards. Because they know there is always another man (or 3,000!) right around the corner waiting to take their place. The ONLY way they stand a chance is to convince you that there isn't better out there, and that the first pang of loneliness means you're unwanted and will die alone. They have no strategy except to instill fear so that you never learn for yourself just how much more is out there for you if you're willing to be a little patient and very discerning.

That's insane! Makes me want to see how many matches I have but I refuse to give those conpanies money. Too bad you can't even use it as an ego boost because most guys swipe right on every girl, so a match is meaningless!

I did the premium once too, and had similar results. It made me feel really weird and I can’t quite explain what it was. Like meat almost, though that’s not exactly right. I didn’t feel good, that’s for sure.

I think I'm done with online dating or at least apps like Tinder, I had some good experiences with some people but most were duds or there would always be some kind of catch - it's pretty stressful trying to keep up multiple conversations and sift through thousands of men too, there's a higher quantity of guys than there is quality on that app. I feel like I'm better off making friends on regular social media or meeting someone organically, dating is pretty rough right now though as my country are having a second lockdown now. I'm on a hiatus from it all really.

I created a (troll) tinder account earlier this week and made it clear that I wasn't serious by stating I am asexual and using selfies with a mask on. In the six minutes it took to upload the photos, I saw that I had 99+ likes already.

I also ran a little experiment a few years ago. I had moved to a new city right after college and wanted to know what was interesting in town (apparently nothing, it's a bedroom community). I made a Bumble account with 1 picture of half my face, no body, and the rest of the pic was my pet. My description was my IG which is just landscape pics.

I matched with every single guy I swiped lol. Considering my lackluster profile, it was pretty clear they just swipe on everyone. I ended up chatting with a few to figure out which restaurants were actually good and which were just "Yelp good" or "Instagram good".
