We must be doing something right. This sub is getting criticized from both right-leaning r/drama AND leftwing r/subreddit drama for the exact same post about "Believe Women"

It's been quite amazing watching feminists try to rewrite history and say "we didn't mean ALL women, just the overwhelming majority of them".

What fascinates me is how often the right-wing people will just kind of keep beating their strawman version of the left even while it becomes increasingly obvious that the intensely authoritarian far-left and the center or even liberal (in the classical sense) left are not seeing eye-to-eye at all. See Bernie Bros vs. DNC. Two separate elections now, and things are even more heated this time.

Hell we've got primarily left-wing subreddits cheering on the Trump administration's changes to Title IX and slinging hate at the ACLU for challenging what amounts to the reintroduction of due process into the system, and yet they continue to beat the strawman. Do they even read the links they're commenting on? (Rhetorical question with an obvious answer)

subreddit drama are radical centrists. They're like "oof" and "yikes" except when poor people want healthcare, then the r slash neoliberal posters show up in droves to defend Biden.

Even drama is economically further left than they are.

Hence the huge debate over financial abortion/financial abortion in the comment section. The opposition to financial abortion was borne out of the right-wing opposition to the welfare state, and the Judeo-Christian notion that men are to the breadwinners of the family. Opposition by libfems is borne out of their class position, as it's a way to exercise class warfare against black and working class men, who are often sent to prison for falling behind on the child support payments for children they've never consented to in the first place.

These same subs criticized r/mensrights posts during the time MRAs were regularly called out on reddit and sometimes posted about arranging meet-ups between MRAs and feminists to stir-up drama.

btw the subs you are referring to in your post are troll subs, so them talking about you does not necessarily indicate that you are taking "the most Flack when you are directly over the target."

Edit: I think its funny the right was upset. The intention of the post was to mock how feminists were trying to play off "Believe All Women" as a right wing conspiracy theory--not to say it actually was. I think it went over their heads.

As an anti-capitalist and non-feminist, this is the space where I live. I actually find it pretty comfortable because both positions are founded upon a commitment to egalitarianism. It's only a paradox to people who have accepted ideologies that don't promote a fair and equal treatment of every individual.
