OnlyFans is over-saturated and I believe 99% of women don't actually make much money from it. Prostitution is pretty extreme and I mostly feel bad for women who have to do that.

5.) Legalizing sex work is a benefit for men, as most woke laws around sex work only are in place to punish buyers of sex, not sellers. Making it so that men can legally buy sex without being jailed only benefits men. In all cases, it will always be sold. Sex work among women is already accepted by most in the young generation, hence additional acceptance would only go towards buyers, e.g. men. As long as both buying and selling sex is accepted, I don't have an issue with it.

I don't agree with it at all, I know there's plenty of evidence to show that the people involved in it tend to be victims in some way. I think it should either be against the law or at the least controlled at an absolutely EXTREME level by a government body.

People are free to do as they please. I don't think I'd date one but there could theoretically be some circumstance where it worked(in the same sense a third party could win thr U.S. presidency). Friendship, sure, no problems there. If my daughter is doing sex work though I would say I failed as a father though given that the job has a short shelf life and a lot of stigma and it doesn't really pay as well as a really good career would.

I don't see your average prostitute being a really good option if the average man is weighing it all. Sugar babies by one name or another tend to do very well provided they put the work in historically. Geisha and Courtiseans and equivalent women who have the skills to keep men engaged do very well for themselves.

I don't blame them for wanting easy money. Its not a regular thing but I have no moral reservations about hiring a professional from time to time. Overall I think it is just an easy way to get money without having any marketable skills or special training, other than being attractive.
Most likely not. There are levels to it. If it's a tamer onlyfans that's way more agreeable especially if she is successful. I think I draw a fairly rigid line in the sand at full service providers. I'm also not too crazy on the idea of someone who is releasing full on pornos, even if they only filmed with long term partners, but again it'd probably depend. But in general full service providers are a hard no.
As long as they keep up with the standards I hold all of my friends to, then I would have no problem being friends with one.
I would actively discourage it, but for the explicit reason that there is generally an excessive amount of emotional trauma and baggage that goes hand in hand with sex work. Sure there are a few standouts who truly love the job, but most people in general cannot handle that type of thing long term.
Acceptance is becoming more commonplace but that doesn't mean that eligible men are suddenly willing to turn hoes into housewives. Even if legalization or decriminalization becomes the norm, you aren't suddenly going to see doctors and lawyers proudly introducing their wife the former escort.

1: Not a terribly positive opinion compared to say, a lawyer or school teacher, but if it makes them money then good for them.

3: As a casual friend sure why not? But as a close friend? Probably not.

5: Probably won't affect anything dating wise for men. Maybe it will make them less thirsty and thus less likely to put up with toxic women but I don't think I'd hold my breath on that one. It might have a detrimental effect on women in terms of their bodies being viewed as commodities to be bought but since that's the essence of being a sex worker, it's kind of an assumed risk.

1, I think it’s a way to make quick money with the risk of long term consequences. It’s kind of like a woman’s version of those ads you’ll see where the claim is that you can make thousands through drop shipping, real estate, or whatever easy method within the comfort of your home. The difference is that instead of the risk being losing a bunch of money, it’s that you potentially face long term consequences down the road whether it be if you decide to want/have a family, losing significant amounts if revenue as you age, or something else. I could go into much further detail on other risks of sex work. But I’m going to keep it short in my initial reply.

It probably isn’t the best comparison since sex work isn’t really a scam like these real estate, crypto, or whatever ads. But that’s just how I see it. They sell you the idea of fast cash and make it seem like there’s no consequences or risk to it. If someone understands the risks and still chooses to go forward with it, that’s fine. My problem is when we try to act like sex work is great and empowering, and doesn’t pose a significant threat to the women who go into that field of work. Because if those women are unfortunate enough to have to face those consequences, they will have been completely unprepared and it will likely be a much more traumatic experience for them. And if they were aware of the risks beforehand, it’s possible they would’ve never gotten into sex work.

No. I have a more conservative view on sex which I also apply to my own life. So it would be a conflict in values and a compatibility issue.
Assuming this is specifically about women, no. But it’s because I don’t have friendships with women. So it would have nothing to do with the fact that she’s a sex worker. Just for clarification, a friendship to me is someone who you talk to/hangout with 1 on 1 in a non work environment. So I’m not saying I don’t have casual and friendly conversations with women or if there’s a woman in a group I’m with that I’ll just ignore her or something because she’s a woman.
I would inform her of the very real risks of it that people seem to try to hide. Not just things like being shamed for it. But also things people don’t talk about like the fact that she would be consistently exposed to the absolute worst kinds of men. Which if that’s where most of her exposure to men comes from, it could give her a very negative view of men overall. And if she still wants to pursue it, then that’s her choice. I won’t try to force her to not do it or disown her if she does do it. But as long as I made sure she was completely informed of it before she made her choice, then my conscience is clear assuming nothing violent happens to her as a result of her choice. But in summary, yea I would be overall discouraging it.
I think it will likely contribute to men having more unrealistic expectations of women. But there’s always going to be men who are fine with dating sex workers and men who aren’t. And then there will also be men who will take whatever they can get. I think more men are becoming complacent with porn in the absence of an actual relationship despite the affects it’s likely having on their mental health. But ultimately it is their decision whether they want to actually go through the effort of finding a relationship or just rely on porn for the rest of their life.

Is acceptance increasing, or is political correctness increasing? I think it's the latter, and everyone, particularly men, still have the same views about it behind closed doors. But because a lot of people are lying about their views, I think more women are choosing to do it because they've been duped into thinking more people are accepting of it now. I'm smart and well-adjusted enough to see it for what it is, but a lot of guys really do get "that stripper really likes me" syndrome. At the very least, guys like me get so jaded that if one of these ladies was genuinely interested, we'd probably ignore them because we see how readily they put on an act for their customers.

1) never had an issue with it. My ex was a stripper, when my wife was in college she did a couple summers working a breasturant. When it comes to prostitution, i think it should be a safe and legal option for those that choose it.

I'm going to state at the start, I haven't paid for porn in any way literally ever in my life beyond the ad revenue generated by my clicks. I have never subscribed to an onlyfans. I have never paid for a website. My knowledge of sex work comes from friends who participate in the industry. I have also never participated in the industry myself, though I have participated in not for profit exhibitionism and produced porn with partners for personal consumption.

1) Sex work is work. Selling your sexuality is no less valid than selling your body working construction. Sex workers often times are hard working people who have to actually master a craft. The sex workers I've known who work independently on onlyfans do their own photography/videoing, their own editing, their own marketing, in what is essentially a 100% commission sales position. Most of them put in alot of hours to do it successfully. Many much more than 40 hours a week in order to keep business flowing and actually be able to live off of the money.

2) I wouldn't date someone who required an open relationship to produce their porn. No one in the mainstream porn industry who is out fucking other people, no one who has an onlyfans that they produce content with other sex workers. I would have no problem with dating someone who produced solo onlyfans content, nor would I have a problem with participating in onlyfans content with a partner. This limitation is primarily a safety concern. I don't do just open relationships, but I am a swinger who likes engaging in group sex together partners, and I'm not going to date someone who is having regular sex with other sex workers potentially opening us/me up to STDs which would interfere with the swinger lifestyle with friends. I guard my clean status very, very carefully to engage in my kinks.

5) I think that the rise of Onlyfans has had a negative effect on dating. Porn production went mainstream like this because of the limited number of ways we have to drag money out of the hands of those who have it. This surge did not happen because suddenly porn and pornstars are more acceptable, it was entirely economically motivated.

I think that worldwide its not having a huge effect, and in the US and perhaps Europe/Canada its having a marginally bad effect. We had been moving away from transaction based interactions between men and women and the rise of onlyfans is something of a step back, but not a huge one.

Rather than the cause of any significant changes, I think that onlyfans is the result of changes. The last 20 years have seen massive changes in the social standards around dating and those standards are still in the midst of widespread change and evolution. Some men have fully adapted to those changes, grown emotional intelligence, listened to women, learned to engage in partnerships with them. Some men have refused or been unable to adapt to those changing social conditions and standards surrounding dating.

The net effect is to separate men into two generalized categories. Those worth dating and those worth avoiding. The rise of Onlyfans is a sign that some women are more than willing to sell sex to men worth avoiding, and that the standards and interactions they have with men worth dating or sleeping with are entirely different and entirely separate.

The future is good imo. We are in a period of social natural selection. Some men are not going to make it, that's just how it is. Red Pill, MGTOW, the incel community, are all reactionary resistance to these changes. The changes have not stopped, nor have they slowed down. Women have established their own narrative separately from men. Men who can fit themselves into the modern female cishet narrative succceed just fine in varios ways. Men who attempt to overwrite the female narrative with their own which is to their advantage and seeks to hold onto anachronisms and male privilege are increasingly getting shunned.

Basically I think red pill, mgtow, and incels increasingly are going to be shunted out of dating and sex. They will scream and cry and occasionally shoot up public spaces or drive cars through crowds and it will change nothing. And then they will die alone, and those of them who manage somehow to have children will have those children raised in a narrative that doesn't agree with theirs. Generationally, the manosphere will reduce itself with every generational die off until it disappears.
